I went camping near a lake and sitting on the beach listening to the waves and having Chrono Cross's soundtrack playing was just amazing, since it fit the scene so well.

NFS from most wanted and before... games are perfect imo and thier soundtracks aswell

Also skyrims main theme is AMAZING

My favorite from any video game is the soundtrack for the Ace combat games.

Which one you say? Well...All of the games really. I see no flaw in any of them.

Also, anything that includes bagpipes or japanese music is an instant win.

Metroid Primes 1 and 2. 3 was good, but not quite as amazing. Metroid as a whole tends to have awesome soundtracks. Except Other M. I still can't even recall that... thing having a soundtrack in the first place.

My personal favourite of all time though is the soundtrack to Medal of Honor 2010.
The only soundtrack I've paid actual money for.

The Elder Scrolls OST gets the cookie, I think Jeremy Soule is one of the best out there!

Silent Hill 1-4, because Akira Yamaoka, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Joe Romersa make a hell of a team!
