The SSV Normandy from Mass Effect. (ok you never fly it yourself, but it's still great.)

The truck or the rocket car from San Francisco Rush 2049. That game was ridiculously awesome. I never did figure out how the truck was the fastest vehicle and the rocket car was the shit for trick mode.

The Mad Cat/Timberwolf, there's nothing quite like stomping around in a huge nuclear-powered robot with enough firepower to shame the United States military.

obviously it would be a mech from MW2.
there's one genre i wish someone would continue PROPERLY...none of this arcade-y dumbed down stuff. i would pay good money for a solid, modern MW2 spiritual successor.
I'd sell both of my testicles for such a sequel.

Do mechs and space ships count as well? Because alot of video games spawn alot of really cool ships. And does it have to be from an FPS? I guess tactical games have a huge range of awesome vehicles. Has anyone played Total Anialation?
Has anyone not played TA? ^^;

Anyway:

Best vehicle that you can -actually drive- is still the scorpion from UT 2K4.
Or maybe the forklift with a chaingun on it from Shadow Warrior.
If mecha counts, put every mech from MW2 except the kitfox above the scorpion...

And the excalibur from Wing Commander 3.

Unpilotable vehicles, I'd probably say the Zeus from TA, or the Cybran Monkeylord from Supcom. It's so big, you can crush tanks just by walking over them, and it has like a 4000 DPS laser. It's pretty sweet.

That huge bike in no more heroes LOOKS good, but is kinda impractical. Meanwhile, any truck with a turret on the back is welcome in my home. Actually, i like any vehicle with good handling, i'm a bit of a wheelman.

The M.A.R.V tank from C&C Kane's Wrath that vehicle was needlessly powerful and cool looking

The Mako (Mass Effect) is a good vehicle. So easy to scale cliffs, jump off mountains and jump over rockets. It has a sheild, machine gun and a huge turrent. It's fun to explore with... but the missions you get with it (Go from point A to B) are just so crap and annoy me. It's not exactly the most easy to manuver. While exploring, that's not really an issue, but while there are Geth there with the intent to blast you to the stone age, then yes, it is a huge issue!! If they got rid of those parts of the game or at least make them a bit different (more room to explore) then it would not be a problem. Other then that it's still fun to take on Thrasher Maws and explore huge lands.
Hell yeah, Mako is the best!

All the vehicles from Halo. All of them.
EDIT: Actually I'll make an exception. The Warthog from Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer. The one with the rack of missles on the back instead of a chaingun, so it was absolutely useless against everything.

The Apocalypse tank from Red Alert 2, especially when it was fully ranked up. The Kirov was impressive as well.

The Blanebade from the Dawn of War series. Eleven barrels of hell!

Ohh, gotta be either the Comanche (the one on jungle strike) simply for the nostalgia factor, or the Mad cat. No, not MW 1, 2, 3, 4... battletech on the old sega megadrive/Genesis. What passed for muliplayer? the single player game, but with one player in control of the torso and guns with the other on movement. OH YEAH.

The Muscle Car from Half-life 2: Episode 2
The Muscle Car in Battlefield 2: Armored Fury Booster Pack
Can't really think of any others
superb choice!, I have the muscle car as my desktop picture, I have an affinity towards Muscle Cars (its a charger in HL2) and anything fast, which should mean I prefer the HL2 buggy... but the muscle car is pure sex to use.

I'm into the fast slidy or hard to turn vehicles in any games I play, so Quirex and Icarus from wipEout
Sprectre from Twisted Metal (he's not as fast as the F1 car but his powerslide makes him cooler and better for blagging rights in deathmatch kills) That and his car is a PROPER Corvette, not the wishy washy corvette from the 70's onwards.
the Muscle car from MotorStorm, not the one with the teeth, the other one!

and who could forget the "Pro" car from Daytona 2, if you positively have to slide at 300 miles an hour to beat your friends at the local bowling alley.

Uziel - Mech Warrior 4 (looked pretty bad-ass, and was fun to pilot)
Arwing - Star Fox series (except for Slippy's arwing, which should always be shot down at the earliest opportunity)
Cicada - Unreal Tournament 2 (Death from above!)
The Puma - Halo 1 (I think it looks like a big cat)
Like the shoe company right? ;)
