As much as I dislike Halo, I've always enjoyed riding in the warthog. (At least, in the original game)


There needs to be a game in which you ride bears. That would be epic.

The airboat and or dune buggy from Half Life 2, the dune buggy had a much funner gun though, but the air boat could go anywhere.

It's a pretty dumb vehicle, but I'd ride in it over just about anything.

1. Landstalker from Ratchet Deadlocked - a four legged tank with machine guns and target seeking mortars.

2. The Junker from Gears of War

3. The Dreadnought from Death Race - Not really videogame, but you can't deny that that thing was awesome

4. The Grizzly from Halo Wars - Haven't even played it yet, but it's a Scorpion Tank with a friggin Flamethrower.

Boats in Battlefield: Bad Company. no one ever sees them coming, great for suprise attacks on gold boxes.

The Orient VX (or some such lettering) from Scarface.

The...Stallion from GTA IV.

The Combine Harvester from San Andreas.

and of course, the Hover board from UT3. first of all, it's a hoverboard. second of all, you can carry the flag on it. and three, it could only be more awesome if you could shoot the Enforcer on other small weapon while on it.

The SA-77 Silpheed fighter, it's not your average vert shooter ship, it can take some damage, unlike some sissy ships.

The Gecko from Frontier: Elite II. Switching a couple parts, you could easily jump a distance of 30-40 lightyears, far more than most of the other ships could. It was a bit flimsy, sure, but you just needed some nice weapons to compensate for that.

4) Silt Striders(don't know if it really counts a vehicle in the parameters of this discussion)- Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind <-------Greatest RPG ever made!(and don't go saying any of those sucky JRPGs are any good)

The manta from UT04. Some people may view it as "an alternate way of getting around when the Leviathan is still spawning" but it's definitely my favorite hovering vehicle. What tops it above Halo's Ghost? Well, for starters it can "jump" meaning it doesn't have all the maneuvering problems. Secondly, it can instantaneously drop to the ground. Perfect for slaughtering your way through advancing infantry, or a very quick dodge of an attack.

This. Fast, easy to manouver, you still have good aim and you can do that satisfying little drop-down to kill pedestrians. I just wish everyone else would stay out of it while you're having dogfights with other mantas ~~

You just gotta love it when the announcer says "PANCAKE!" when you drop down on someone with that thing. XD

Also I loved the Uziel from Mechwarriors, just gotta go with the duel charge cannons.

The tank in GTA3 because if you turned the turret so it was facing behind you and fired it would give you an extra burst of speed used to jump over the other tanks trying to stop you.

I always liked the destroyers in BF42. Also, the Kirov Airships from Red Alert 2/3. Ans while were speaking of C&C, the Mammoth/Apocalypse/Overlord Tanks from the various C&C Games.




And the Hunka Hwarng from the Sims 2

Ok first up the Rocket Buggy from BF 1942 DCX mod: it was just fun
Next is the jeeps in normal BF 1942
The Charger from EP2 always felt sluggish like it had a governer on it but other than that it was fun.
The Gremlin jet from BF1942 Secret weapons, can't land but who cares "I'M FLYING FOOL"
ok so I liked almost ALL the vehicles from BF1942 and the secret weapons and DC mods even the choppers.
the buggy from Farcry was fun if weak
