That would make me laugh, catching a pirate who was on a boat.
Actually I have a question, if you could have internet access from the middle of the sea is there any location where NO country controls them (although net access may be impossible)

because then technically there would be a location you can download movies without breaking the law.
All "International Waters" are like that.. I'm not sure about getting the internet out there though.
I remember hearing about some torrent site a couple years back that wanted to buy an island in international waters to host all their servers. That was the last I heard of that though.

I'm dissapointed. I was hoping this would be about Wolverine hijacking a ship and terrorizing the open sea's with his scurvy crew.

Or actual wolverines robbing people.
I immediately thought it was the second one.

My next thought was, "Well...humanity's really fucked now."

I'm more interested in seeing Gambit!
Anyway, I don't see how watching an unfinished print would make people NOT want to see a movie; Hollywood needs to get over itself.

I cant see why anyone would want to ruin the experience of seeing the finished product. Watching a half-finished, broken film doesnt intice me like going to a theatre, getting my big popcorn and soda and watching a cool movie on a huge HD screen with surround sound that could blow my eardrums out. Meh. Just never got into the whole movie piracy thing I guess. I DO feel sorry for the sap thats gonna get the heat from this though.
You know, this version could actually be the better one. You can at least laugh at missing CGI and Hugh growling in front of a green screen, hehe, good stuff. Rest of the movie... oh man, I wish I was 12 again when I thought all superhero and sci fi shit was good.

That is, that would be my opinion if I actually saw the movie in question, ahem.

Gonna toss this out there, see if it helps the FBI (they gotta get off this and back on alien watch) Stargate: Continuum(?) was leaked a week early. (it was the one with the Ori) And I didn't hear anything about an arrest, so it might be the same company/employee

I saw it, and laughed the entire way through. They butchered the actual story and characters of wolverine growing up and being in weapon X. The only thing that actually kept me watching was the cgi missing from all the big scenes. It was quite humorous to see Hugh jumping around on wires and what not. But seriously, this movie is not worth a full ticket price when it indeed comes out, wait for a cheap theatre.

Here's an answer in Jack Black's words. (Not very convincing, but it does touch your question).

Still doesn't explain why illegaly uploading film/music is reffered to as piracy, oh well I guess nothing I say can stop them bismirching the good name of pirate.

I watched it. It was OK. Not amazing, but not bad. You should wait thought. The CGI wasn't finished and therefore sucked.

Oh well, I'll try to answer with my imagination. You know the expression "surfing on the internet"? Since the internet is a huge sea of information, it's natural someone wants to steal that information.

A thief on the sea is called a pirate. They may be different from your drinking and sex old style pirate, but they're pirates alright. Since this movie was somekind of merchandise, the pirates want get their dirty (in these situations: sweaty) little hands on the gold.

Now the creators and the law are...the law. They want their stuff back so they can sell it properly.

Now, is this a good answer that satisfied your needs?

It's a fine answer, and I'm against what is reffered to as piracy, and I still wish they wouldn't call it that.

I thought wolverines had learned to use the internet. My next thought was roughly the same.

But now I know it's about a new Hugh Jackman movie I wasn't aware of. Learn something new everyday.

Watched the movie and I have to say it`s pretty good for a "incomplete" version.

I wouldn`t be surprised if this was a publicity stunt.
