Checked again, it was two fires but they were both last year, one May and one June of last year only a few weeks apart. The second one did not cause any damage. (Note not blaming LRR, the news articles were very misleading on these facts)

The fire damaged the control room, and more importantly torpedo room and took twelve hours to extinguish while injuring 7 people, Thankfully my brother who was working working on repairs on the sub wasn't injured

It's the kind of situation that raises so many questions, questions you may not wan the answer to. Also, I love it how it's instantly McDonalds fault, odds are they may not have got rid of it when cleaning the area. But in the off chance that some random person went in there, planted it for lols and then left, that means they are being sued for something not their fault.

Things make more sense now. I didn't realise there were two incidents prior to today, which didn't help things.

All I can think of when hearing about the Casey Fury story is the guy locked in a glass prison with a Hannibal Lecter mask. A high ranking government official walks into the room and tells Fury that if he sets things on fire for him he'll make the $400,000,000 debt go away. Fury says very creepy things, but ends up agreeing. The few days latter the police convoy escorting Fury is found burnt to a crisp, including all the guards, and what looks like Fury's corps. Everyone says he's dead but the government official doesn't believe them, especially when everything in his life starts burning to the ground.
