Sure... keep telling yourself that, then enjoy your day 1 purchase of Mass Effect 4. When it happens, remember that you were told it would and stop saying ridiculous things.Saviordd1 said:Well...there go my hopes and dreams of the series getting fixed.
Time to never buy from bioware again.
No, it is. The cameraman must've been on crack or something when he took that picture.Korten12 said:No offense, but is it just me or is that picture really really creepy?
Also this sucks. D:
Well seeing as they'll put out a patch sooner or later and the import bug will be fixed in the next patch (they've explicitly stated as much), I'm just putting 2 and 2 together.Zen Toombs said:Ha, you think they're gonna fix the import bug? Silly Vrach....Vrach said:Well first off, they might not be working on it yet. Hell, they haven't even fixed the import bug yet.
Second, they don't really need Hale to "fix" the ending. They're not gonna make a whole new ending (they're not that fucking stupid, or one can only hope), they'll just throw in some more exposition to fill the plot holes - which they can do without Shepard ever opening her mouth.
Also, unless the "fixing ending" is purely a "DA:O style text crawl showing what happens to everyone after the end" then they would need Shep to speak, as every time Shep asks a question s/he has a line of dialogue to ask that question. In this case, Shep would be asking the Reaper King.
True true on the second.Vrach said:Well seeing as they'll put out a patch sooner or later and the import bug will be fixed in the next patch (they've explicitly stated as much), I'm just putting 2 and 2 together.Zen Toombs said:Ha, you think they're gonna fix the import bug? As to the second point, for one, Shepard has a lot less dialogue in ME3. Like, a ridiculously smaller amount, there's as much option for you to choose your lines as there is in ME2's opening scene. And they have loads of Hale's footage, likely even some they didn't use in ME3 final version, you can take any innocuous question and tack on a pile of exposition in the Star Child's answer easily.
Absolutely, because I'm every weak willed biodrone on the bioware social network.Mister Linton said:Sure... keep telling yourself that, then enjoy your day 1 purchase of Mass Effect 4. As for the patch thing - I believe what you're saying and retract my dismissal of the glitch. However, I'd like to ask for a source if you can manage.
Third - nice talkin to ya. You've been very civil.
That's my issue here, as well. The ending aside, weren't they going to do DLC like they did with ME2? So either she's out of the loop, she's lying, the powers that be decided that DLC wasn't going to happen, or she recorded a lot more bits of dialogue than were presented in the game in preparation for DLC projects.Sotanaht said:Something odd about this... even if they don't plan to do anything serious for the ending fix, there is no way in hell they could do any real DLC missions without someone voicing Shepard (though they could always give it to someone else). That sort of DLC is pretty much guaranteed unless you would have us believe that the ending shit actually made them can any possible DLC missions completely.
