Yeah, but like I said, the idea is "If wasn't fictional and was in fact a real flesh and blood human being (or equivalent)..." etc. etc.Combine Rustler said:Yeah, I know. But the fact that it is a fictional character would call to mind questions about them being basically a cardboard cutout, and thus I'd be quite a bit unsettled.canadamus_prime said:ReinWeisserRitter said:-snipped-Killjoy! This is purely hypothetical, you know, 'If these characters were real etc. etc.'Combine Rustler said:-snipped-
Then again, I'm pretty sure that girls in general just find my affection creepy (comes with being a creepy looking guy: pale, short, dark circles under eyes etc), so I refuse to develop romantic feelings for anyone. Makes people think I'm asexual.
That's a good question, why did you?Combine Rustler said:So why the fuck did I post in this thread again?
I don't recommend going to the carnival for your first date. That ring toss game can be quite traumatizing for him. Maybe you two should visit shrimp baby together. Oh well, that is a lot to think about, time to go stand in the bathroom.him over there said:Did you kill Rita to get to him?Dr Pussymagnet said:I'd totally date Mike "Action" Dawson.
That's a good one... and how are some ostensibly real people any better?Combine Rustler said:Yeah, I know. But the fact that it is a fictional character would call to mind questions about them being basically a cardboard cutout, and thus I'd be quite a bit unsettled.

Hey, at least she's loyal and dependable.
...Is it the fact that she owns one of those huge dildo bats and moonlighted as a dominatrix? Or does that count as a physical reason?Imat said:Kinzie Kensington from Saint's Row 3. Anyone who's played the game (Which I recommend) can probably see where I'm coming from on that one.
I think you're generalizing a bit my friend. I love anime and manga, but not all of it has those problems (but quite a bit of it does). QUALITY and Sameface are indeed quite annoying.Don Savik said:I think that's one of my major gripes with anime/manga style. I know there are some people that are attractive AND have good personalities, but when all the shy nerdy girls look the same as the popular idiot girls except for the bosom size(sometimes) and hair style......yeaaaa......I just can't ignore my brain to get past it. I mean, they DO need to sell their show...and we know japan.....
There isn't enough variation in facial features because everyone chooses to draw the same. Its lazy! I hate lazy animation with a goddam passion, and anime is a big offender. They sacrifice too much animation for the same overly complicated and static environments. You know why people like shows over books? ANIMATION.
[sub]you see what anime does to me? sigh....[/sub]
