mess, as in fidle with it, move it, position it in the exact right spot, or like waht you said with a pen, or pick at/ peel labels. As in messing with something. as in " Hey you! Don't mess with that bomb!"
Apologies, but for one reason or another, I had Pyro in mind... a slightly manic grin on one's face and a zippo...

...

[sub][sub][sub]... sorry...[/sub][/sub][/sub]

OT, again, at times I have to stop myself from miming the recurve/compound draw technique, nocking the arrow and all (archery).
It's okay. And I am a bit of a pyromaniac. It's odd that your mind went there...

Coinceidence? Or, Something else...

Maybe my personality both online and offline makes people think I want to burn things. :/

This is troubling...

I fidget a lot. Especially when excited. I tend to start scratching the back of my head really fast when I'm excited and don't hands my hands busy.

...Probably due to my ADD, but whatever.

Uh... OK, I'll be sure to send your folks a water cannon for Christmas...(!)

Still, it was probably... something else, though you don't give off a particularly pyomaniac vibe if it's any consolation.

I can sit surprisingly still sometimes. Other times when I'm nervous I'll fidget a little.

No use in denying it. Yeah, I fidget. I can't really sit still or sit for a long time and my hands usually grab whatever is near.

I am currently shaking my legs and pulling the hairs of them with my left hand. I don't do that very often, usually it's just tapping the foot.

I am also prone to heavy bouts of fidgeting, I can't sit still without picking something an object and just playing with it in my hands. Regardless of whether or not I own the object or how valuable it is. I simply have to be holding something.

Best way to be safe with me is to leave some blu-tack around, I always seem to go for that first.

I always have to be moving my legs. If there is anything small nearby I'm usually holding something too. Right now I'm holding dice, a normal sized one and a tiny one that is about 1/8 as large as the normal one.

I tend to be pretty fidgety, to counter it I either move my legs or just pull out my iPod and play something to pass the time.

I knit, doodle, tap my fingers against stuff... pretty much anything to keep from just sitting. I'm extremely fidgety.

A lot of the time. Both legs/feet and hands. If only I could stick to fidgeting, but I'm afraid I keep biting and scratching my nails and the skin around them. Makes me look diseased.
When I'm not fidgeting/tapping/etc., I almost can't/won't move though. It's fairly odd.
Apologies if that was TMI, haven't lurked these boards enough to really tell on this particular kind of comment.

I CAN sit still, but I feel more comfortable if I'm tapping my foot, or fidgeting with something.
Seconded. Tapping to a beat is a more common occurrence for me.

I fidget, hum, sing, finger tap, feet dance, crack joints, and probably do a few body twitches I'm not aware of.

Basically, you don't want to be around me when I'm working or think I'm alone.

I fidget a lot. Right now while typing, I have my right leg crossed on top of my left and tapping my left foot while moving my right toes. Probably because I'm listening to music though.
While listen to people talk, when bored or while thinking I play with the hair stubble on my chin.
In school, I flip my pen through my fingers. That's resulted in me having to get up many times during the teacher talking to fetch it after having it fly out of my hand.
I tend to sing too, alone or not. It's not loud, but noticible if you're near me.

I always play with something, if not an object then it's my own fingers.
'Xcept when I listen to Pink Floyd, it relaxes me completely, even stops the tics.

I don't fidget or move randomly. I started deer hunting to young to really have any thing like that left in me now days. In my teen years I did a ton of still hunting with a bow, so I know how to make each move deliberately.

Under normal circumstances unless I focus, I find it impossible to not move in some way. or if I happen to be completely relaxed for whatever reason.
