Final Fantasy Suggestions

Can someone suggest on where I should start? Personally, I think FFX is a great representation of the series. It's one of the better ones in my opinion, so it's a good way to get hooked into FF.

I'm playing through it now. It's alright, definitely much better than 12, but it takes too long to get your sphere level up toward the end of the game.

OT: I'd reccomend VII, VIII, IX and X 100%. VIII and IX in particular. The two best games I have ever played in my life. ^^
