A bit of advice, try and level up Tifa and Red XIII as much as possible, they're the best (I.M.O) team mates you can have, Vincent is 3rd best.

Also, REMEMBER THIS CODE: CIRCLE, SQUARE, X, X. You'll need it in (small SPOILER ALERT) Cid's ship to unlock "Something"

I dont know I agree with tifa (her limits are great) but red I would put him down as number 4 2 and 3 being given to vincent and berret

I prefer Red because of his Limit Break 'Cosmo Memory'

They're called Final Fantasy because Final Fantasy (1) was meant to be Squares last game, cos they was almost bankrupt. Ofcourse as we all know now it was wildly successful and Square became one of the most well known makers of RPG's ever.

Since they decided to name their last game 'Final Fantasy' they're going to need to keep cranking them out until a few don't sell and they can finally go bankrupt.

I like the name, there's a morbid irony to it. Plus it just sounds kinda cool.

Its all about Cid and Barrett for Highwind and Ungarmax! If they are leveled up nicely they can pound out some damage from them.

Level 17... I'd say you're not even out of Midgar. If you are, then you're only around Kalm Town.

What the hell? You actually grinded that hard in Midgar? I was level 14 when I left.

I like to Blade Beam the Air Buster and Meteorain Reno.

Level 17? You're barely past the half-way point on the first disk. Unless you're super-skilled.

Level 99 is the cap, but there is no reason to suppose that you'll actually hit that by games end.

I'd guess... Cosmo Canyon. Possibly as far on as the golden saucer. I was doing a low level run and couldn't get any further with my level 12 Barrett.

He made me laugh so damn much when I first got to him

Well Cosmo memory is quite powerful some time after you get it, but seriously, Barrets best Limit Break Catastrophe is much better (IMO), as it hits about 10 times, opposed to Cosmo memory that hits only once. It is also really easy to acquire.

In the end of the game where you can easily dish out the max damage, multiple hits in one turn are great against some of the end or secret bosses. Though Cid has limits that hit many times also... anyway Barret is always in my final team with someone random. Damn I need to play FF VII again.

no junon your next stop apart for that reactor with the condor but thats a side quest any way

(hint: when you get out of caves look arond the woods on the world map near junton as its the soonest you xan get yufie( i forget how you spell it )

as she showes up in battls in the woods if you do find her just watch what you say to her ._.

Yep, flattery gets you everywhere with Yuffie. I never used her or Cait Sith though.

Stuck to Tifa and Aeris until, you know, and then Tifa and Vincent or Barret the rest of the way.

17? Costa del Sol. Just after Jenova-BIRTH. Or maybe you're only at Junon, meaning I just told you what's coming up. It's very rare, but still possible, to get to Cosmo Canyon by now, to which I say "good job, but you're gonna die."

Any forest in the game will do for Yuffie. Including the KotR materia cave one...how did she get there?

Use options 1, 2, 1, 2, 1. Simple, huh?

If you're more than halfway through the first disc I would be suprised. Grind more. Lvl 70 is a good point to fight the final boss.

Your gonna be waiting for a LONG time. Squares not even close to bankrupt. I mean come on, they just bought eidos http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3173478 . Not to mention all the games they're developing. Not just FF, they're got all their other series coming out w/ stuff, like KH.
