I got DA:O on the PS3 for one of the same reasons I am getting FFXIII on it. Again, trying to preserve the limited life of my Xbox. I've already gone through 3 of the suckers. This one is going to last, dammit!

Fair enough, my 360 is only two weeks old (just upgraded from 20gig to 250gig) so it needs to earn it's supper ;-)

Oooh, jealous!! I have so much DLC, I'm running out of space on my old Halo Xbox. 250 would be nice. I'm sure that bad boy will have plenty of opportunity to earn its supper when DA:Awakenings comes out.

In all honesty it depends which console or controller you prefer, and if you do prefer the 360, whether you're willing to give up that extra bit of quality(If you have an HDTV) and are able to put up with disk swapping. Personally I'm opting for the PS3 version, better quality(Although I do admit, you probably won't be able to notice it unless you sit quite close to the screen) and also the lack of disk swapping(Square Enix did Star Ocean 4's disk swapping quite poorly, having to swap disks to go to older areas. I wouldn't mind if they did it like the old Final Fantasy disk swapping though) appeals to me. Also I just got a PS3 myself, might as well get my moneys worth.

does this work for you? yes it supports 720 and lower but it does go to 1080

though from what my research has shown is that it's possibly 720 for gameplay and 1080 for cutscenes though that's not confirmed as far as i know

The game isn't natibe 1080p, it's an upscaled 720p. They did the same thing with MGS4 to up the graphics. And it's most likely just the cutscences that are native 1080p anyways.

I'm getting it for the PS3, because my roommate's still playing Mass Effect 2 on my 360. It's a shame, really, because I much prefer the 360 controller and have a feeling I'm going to be holding it for a while if #13 is any decent length.

I have both and am getting it on PS3, for a couple of reasons. No disc swapping and it just feels right playing a FF game with a Playstation controller (silly I know, but it would feel weird playing, say, ME on PS3)

Very much an issue when it comes to DLC. I have every Fallout DLC and I use them frequently enough not to want to delete them. I just know when New Vegas comes out I'll be buying more. I also have the Oblivion DLC, which takes up a good chunk. And I know ME2 will likely come out with some substantial DLC.

This was quite a pickle for me... I do only have a 360, so i guess ill be getting it on that to not own a ps3 and then get a ps3 game is stupid beyond shitless other random stupid stuff. But, i love FF13 and i thought it should have stayed true to the Playstation. However, this will be the only time that to get a FF on the Playstation would be impossible, so lucky for me its come over to Xbox at just the right time!

If you have both the 360 and the PS3, get it on the PS3.

If only to avoid the disk swapping.
