Final Meal.

So I was watching an old episode of Oz centred around death penalty's and one of the characters was eating his last meal. This got me to thinking, if I were to commit a heinous crime and be put of death row, what would be the last meal I ate? And how would I eat it? I think I would choose something along the lines of turkey pot pie(homemade) or anything really hearty and filling, I would not eat for a day or two before hand and I would stuff myself silly, but take the time to cherish and enjoy my final meal.

So I direct the question at you! Yes you Escapist community! What would be your last meal? How would you eat it?

My last meal would be my favourite food ever, a massive cheese and marmite sandwich. its awesome, it would consist of half a baguette, loads of cheese and about half a big pot of marmite. lovely

My cousin's lasagne with her homemade bechamel sauce. As for how I would eat it, with a knife, a fork and copious amounts of garlic bread.

Probably a huge, HUGE plate of [I have no idea what it's called in English, but litterally translated from Dutch it's called 'farmer cabbage'] so at least I'll feel very satisfied when I sit down on the chair and die. Nothing fills a man up like that stuff. Massive amounts of potatoes, massive amounts of cabbage, mixed together with some saucage.. Mmmmm...

Huge rump steak, cooked exactly medium, with onions and mushrooms; big pile of mashed potatoes, and vegetables; followed by profiteroles, washed down with a bottle of Budwar.

Eaten very, very slowly.

Something that has ingredients that are only found somewhere absurdly hard to get to - like an underwater volcano that's actively spouting magma.
OR SPACE
Or something.

It's like a stay of execution, but you also get the satisfaction of knowing the people who want you dead are suffering for your benefit.

Thats a good plan, make them work for your dinner! I like it!

Reminds me of when I last ordered out with my pals. Since it was an Italian place, my pal told the guy on the phone, "I'll have your best meal with a side of your second best meal."
When the delivery guy showed up, my pal got a calzone pizza filled with steak.
I want that. xD

My dads home made Spaghetti Bolognese. My favourite meal. He always makes loads of it so I can go back for seconds or thirds. Then I can die happy.

Well if I had any bad food allergies, to the extent where I would die, I would eat that. But since I don't have anything like that, I guess I would just eat a nice steak dinner with shrimp or something. I don't exactly see the point of a last meal when you're about to die.
