On the other hand, Live will make almost all your games 100% more AWESOME. The chance to make someone cry in competetive games is pretty sweet, and nothing really beats the feeling of, in Left 4 Dead, making through a difficult campaign with a good team. Even with a bad team, the game is still sweet.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to playing some L4D when I finally get a gold membership! I only got to play a bit of split-screen with a friend awhile ago.

that's a matter of opinion.... you get some pretty killer loot at the end of the mission...

$10 bucks for loot? I'm on a budget right now, I'm saving for a school trip to Egypt.

Do you even get to go back in the sim again?

well, as i said, matter of opinion (if it's in fact worth $10).... if you're on a budget as you are, then i'd say no, but if you love Fallout 3 as much as i do, then yeah it's worth it... the weapons cache is pretty sweet... stealth armor, new power armor, gauss sniper rifle and a power sword...

but sadly, no, you can not return to the simulation once you've finished it....

I agree with you on all points. Damn my lack of energy weapon skill... I WANNA USE THE LAZORSNIPER! Also i wanna shoot more commies with a silenced ten mil... so fun ^^

I've had my Xbox 360 for over a year now, but just today I got around to hooking it up to LIVE! I'm almost giddy with the possibilities - DLC for Rock Band and Fallout 3 and Mass Effect, and Braid and Castle Crashers! GLEEE!!!

Has anyone else gone for a long time without hooking their console up to the net, and then finally reached that glorious day when they do?

I went almost a year before I hooked it up. I was very disappointed that the user name I'd been using for my profile was already taken, so I had to start a new one for XBox live, and lost all my Gamer Score points. I didn't realise that would happen. But it's all cool, I'm over it now, have gotten my score up way higher than it was before.

So yeah, without XLB, it's almost like you only have half an xbox.

And also for the old Xbox I had live as soon as I got the console but for the 360 I had a wait a day due to some reason with me not being able to connect and get my old gamertag back.
