Firemen?

The point I'm trying to make is that technology is making people stupid and complacent and we need firemen to come and spray our houses with water to ruin all our electronics so that people can be happy again.

I don't think people have ever been happy, so I'm going to have to disagree, if anything I'd argue we need the firemen to burn everything down as we'll only be rid of people's misery if everyone is dead, no one can suffer if they no longer exist after all, but then again I do not exist and yet I suffer so maybe it's a dilemma that's impossible to solve.

Hmm, you're right. Maybe it would be for the best if the firemen burnt the books with fire and then used the water to ruin the electronics. You can only be truly happy using the purest power of your imagination.
