My very first was a small 2 day metal festival in the middle of nowhere back in 2004. Literally. It was in the middle of a field in nowhere.

No huge bands in that one, mostly newcomers and locals. Fear Factory headlined day 1. Mastodon headlined day 2.

Recently I went to another 2 day festival with some of the bigger names in music. It was the best 2 days of my life.

I assume classical music doesn't count? If that's the case, then....video games live. First and only.

A punk-rock festival in Poland, in a little city called Jarocin, mostly polish rock and punk bands, some pretty garage style. Year 1993. Total of 4 day trip, i was 13. New Model Army played during that festival.

First concert was Iron Maiden in 2005(or 06), then 2008 I went to see Kiss in May and in July Maiden ones more, 2009 I went to a W.A.S.P. concert and there's a really great cover pub band from Sweden called Boner (we have with many friends bought their shirts that sais "Boner army" and it's fun to walk in town with those ^^) who come to my hometown a few times a year and I go there every time. They play everything from Maiden, Kiss, Aerosmith, Motörhead to basic classic great Rock N' Roll!!!

Disturbed is touring with Avenged Sevenfold here soon... I guess I'm buying tickets to that.

Tool is touring as well, coming to my area July 10th, I want to go see them SOOO badly but I can't get anyone to go with me... and I'm not going to shell up $130 for tickets to go solo...

My first concert was at some venue featuring a bunch of bands which I'd never heard of and can't remember the names of.

That's why I prefer listing No Doubt with Paramore as my first "real concert" - and I must say, it kicked a lot of ass. That being said, I'm going to see Metric tomorrow! Hooray!

My first concert was about five years ago, was close to Christmas time and my birthday. Was four bands. Jimmy Eat World, Keane, Muse, and Velvet Revolver.

Was pretty damn good.

Fucking Radiohead during their OK Computer tour.

Envy me...
I do, you lucky SOB!...I do.

OT: Rock Werchter in Belgium.

I was about 17 and I saw Marylin Manson, Placebo, REM and a good deal of others. The pee and beer fumes did get to me on the third day, though. And sleeping in a tent that was half collapsing because of the weather did very little for me mood aswell.

It was still very awesome.

My first concert was Springsteen in '84, followed by Van Halen the same year.

Matchbox 20. It was at a vineyard and it rained really hard. The atmosphere was amazing. When interviewed sometime this year, Rob Thomas said that it is in his top 5 concerts he had done, just because of the atmosphere.

Killswitch Engage, when they were in New Zealand in...06, I think it was. 17 at the time. We don't get many big bands coming over, and even fewer of the slightly less popular ones I listen to. I was pissed off when I missed the Disturbed one, but from what I heard, the singer had a massive cold at the time.

Even worse, I missed the Faith No More, and AC/DC ones a couple of months back.

had some random concert when i was 11 or 12, don't remember much of it But the best one I've been to recently(I don't go to many, since Aus has most of them near Bris or Sydney those greedy bastards) But it had Grinspoon and Silverchair, plus Vampire Weekend (Never heard of them before then, they suck xD), Empire of the sun and few other no-names.

Grinspoon was fucking awesome, silver was terribad :[

EDIT: Powderfinger later this year... Wooooo!
