oddly i didnt play a mario game until i got my 64
then again i was 4 and was easily manipulated by seeing tom and jerry.... ha...

It was either an Atari of some sort, or NES. Because I am absolutely sure I played NES in my youth, but have only hazy memories of something similar to an Atari.

If I remember correctly my first console was a Sega Megadrive/Genesis but I think I may have had a master system before that.
The first one I remember getting given though was a Playstation and then spending the next half hour working out how to use it.

My first console I ever owned was a XBOX. My parents weren't too fond of consoles, especially my mother, who was a toy store clerk at the time, and since she got a fair many broken PS1's and PS2's back, she wasn't too fond of having to go through that at home here.
