Super Mario Bros for the NES. The NES was owned by my childhood babysitter, I was very easy to babysit in that respect; plunk me in front of Mario and I played. Loved that game and still do to this day.
I can't clearly remember which one I played first, but I had four games that came with my Nintendo: Tecmo Super Bowl, Blades of Steel, Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt (the latter two on the same cartridge). Honestly, I think I spent more time running around with the light gun than I did actually playing any of them.
It's probably not the FIRST one I played (I actually started playing video games at age 2), but the one I remember the farthest back is Sonic The Hedgehog for the SEGA Master System.
I'm srue i've played a game very young and dont remember, but the first game i've ever played is either math busters (hardly a game, more learning). First real game i played was my uncles hockey game on his sega genesis, Which he gave to me shortly after
I loved that thing.
Beyond Oasis (best genesis rpg ever!!!)
Sonics
Golden Axe
Ninja 2d games (can't remember exact names but there were tons anyway)
And that one where you fight random thugs on a street, cant remember the name at all right now though.
Something on the Atari 2600, but I can't remember what, I was young back then. Most likely Pong as it would have been simple enough to understand early. But I remember playing Asteroids, Pacman, Pitfall, Pole Position...all the classics
