First images of Live Action Sonic film version emerge

I am not a Sonic fan. I do not play his games or watch his shows on a regular basis.

That being said, Sonic does appear strange here.

Y'know how Detective Pikachu was a thing I scoffed at, then I saw the trailer, and said "I never asked for this, but now I need it"?

This isn't such an occasion.

At the least, he doesn't look as bad as some earlier images suggested, but this isn't "good" by any means. Also doesn't help that I have little confidence that this movie will be good, even though I'd love it to be.
