God damn, those are a airsoft? Where the heck did you get those from? I've been wanting a good quality airsoft gun for days where I just don't feel like driving all the way out to the range.

Depends on what part of the world you're shopping from. I personally order online from Evike, Redwolf Airsoft, and Kapowwe, but then I live in the US.

just for the record, airsoft guns i can understand i own several myself, but assault weapons e.g. guns, swords, and knives (excluding hunting knives, shotguns etc) kill people when used properly and have about as much taste as a dead baby joke when used ornimentally, if anyone can give me a reason to be so fascinated by killing equipment i'd love to hear it.

Is it just me, or does the definition for "assualt weapons" get broader every day?

EDIT: Also: Yes, I'm afraid to say, you ARE a weak nerd hippy pascifist. Not that there's anything wrong with being weak, or a nerd. 'Cause Nerds rule. There's even a song about it, sung by a hot geek.

when i say assault weapon i mean any weapon designed to cause harm to another person.

by the way i'm not a weak nerdy pascifist, i've been in fights before, and i'm not weak either i'm a rock climber with a 9 hour per weak training programme.

Yes. Guns kill people. You know what else kills people? FOOD. Whether from over-eating, or choking (which I suppose could be a sub-set of over-eating), or eating the wrong food, or having the food prepared wrong, food is dangerous as hell.

Twilight is also dangerous, but I don't think any deaths have been reported... Yet...

to eat to much or the wrong type of food is a choice to do damage to your self, to choose to take up lethal arms is a choice to (potentially) do damage to other people.

Okay, so am I the only one who thinks people who keep weapons are creepy?

I mean, no offense, but when I walk into somebody's house and I see a rifle hanging on the wall or a set of battle axes it's a definite "Ooookay, then" moment.

I draw the line at a blunted katana in a teenager's room, and even that feels somewhat off to me. Never mind morals, it's just a matter of aesthetics. It doesn't send the right message as far as decor goes, IMHO.

I find people who have weapons as decoration a bit weird, unless they are genuine antiques. Keeping a cheap replica katana for decor is tacky.

However, did you consider that people keep weapons for other reasons? For example, a shotgun for clay shooting or rabbit hunting, a rifle for deer stalking, or a sword for martial arts training for example.

Absolutely, that's what I meant. I have no problem with people having a shotgun, a sword or an axe to use them as tools, but displaying them as decoration rather than safely keeping them away like dangerous tools is what comes up as a red flag in my book.

I've got an airsoft gun, looks like a P230. It's mostly plastic, so it looks like a lame ol'd toy. It still fires little pastic motherfucekrs, so it's better than my other weapon (a homemade lego crossbow that fires lego bricks.)
