The original Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders. It was a great RTS game for the X-Box that got shoved under the table. IT combined commanding your own troop, and you eventually got to command other troops, such as Knights, Mortars, Giant Eagles, and Catapults at the same time, except every troop was separate, and it wasn't hard to use them. They were like the Group function in C&C3, except better. You controlled them to the letter.
But unlike other RTS games, your main troop had the commander(the player), and became a bloody hack 'n' slash, except refined when you got in melee with other troops, but you could still control the other troops during a fight. You also could not die, just get knocked down/stunned for a few seconds. It pains me that the new KoF is a regular Hack 'n' Slash, abandoning its RTS roots.
