Have you ever thought of a saying that would fit perfectly with a certain forum, exemplifying it?
If you have post here, and remember that this is just a joke thread, so no naming names, and give your reason why it would fit.

Religion & Politics
"Abandon hope, all ye who enter"

This is what I choose due to that forum being... soul crushing, to say the least. Seems to lack a constructive edge in most of the cage fighting debates.

If it counts

The News Room
"It takes time to add that snark"

A light-hearted jibe that The Escapist news is generally a bit behind other gaming sites when it comes to reporting and that there can be a tendency for the articles to have a jibe at someone or something related to said article (although not always I will say, on both lateness and snarkyness)

"Religion and Politics: where beastiality and athiesm meet."

They sure do like them some horse-diddling and anti-religion threads over there.....

R&P.

"Never once open that topic, it's Pandora's Box in all but name"

Gaming:

"Where the flavour of the month lasts roundabout 4 months longer than it really has a right to!"

Oh man, with the new DA game announced I would love to see Zeel make a resurgeance. What a damn celebrity. The brightest flames burn out twice as fast I guess...

*ahem*

My friends, it has often been said that I like video games...
My friends, I like video games
NO! I LOVE...VIDEO GAMES
I love First Person Shooters, I love RPGs, I love Puzzles, Strategy, Survival Horror, Thrillers, JRPGs! On Xbox, on Nintendo 64, on Gamecube, on Wii, on PS3, on Atari! I LOVE EVERY ACT OF GAMING THAT CAN OCCUR UPON THIS EARTH!

When a band of pitiful twelve year old trolls brandish their keyboards and use mind-bogglingly vicious slurs, only to be smashed to atoms by the thunderous strength of the Banhammer, I am in ecstasy.
And the sound of grown men banging away at their keyboards so hard it rains Cheetos dust, is an IRRESISTIBLE pleasure.
My heart leaps with joy whenever I see links into Youtube that function properly.
And there is nothing more arousing than the sight of a fresh member, continuing the argument beyond the barrier of sanity, smashing the truncheon over and over into the bloated corpse of a long dead horse.
I love it when the OP is dragged through the mud as having a terrible opinion.
It's so sad to see a person who was just attempting to express their opinion in a comfortable environment being laid to waste, his favorite games and movies being spat on and his pride crushed.
I love to be crushed under the heel of the trolls and idiots who claim that their game is better than mine.
The humiliation as they hurl me into the mud, swearing and laughing at me as they break my legs verbally and let me writhe in sadistic amusement.

Gentlemen, all I ask for is refuge. A refuge even the greatest demons of the Warp would not dare cross.
Gentlemen, I ask you as fellow nerds on the Internet, what do you truly want? do you want to be stepped upon and forgotten under a tide of fools and trolls? Or do you wish for sanctuary against the horrors of the world as I do? Do you wish for a welcoming, kind sanctuary where we can be free of prejudice?

A fortress who's barricades are built with iron and lightning and fire? Do you wish for an oasis of intellectual debate to expand and sweep through the forums like a tempest, leaving not even ravens to scavenge from the Banhammer crushed corpses of the monsters that lurk within the shadows?!

But, after our entire lives of being marginalized, a simple, ordinary shelter would no longer suffice. WE NEED A MASSIVE SANCTUARY! ONE THAT NOT EVEN SOPA COULD PENETRATE!

The d20 has fallen out of the hand, and is rolling across the game board at last! Friends... let's welcome our brothers and sisters with open arms...

this....was amazing to read.

OT: Gaming; where any and all wars that include anything of gender and or personal opinion are waged by trolls and others who eventually fall into immaturity to defend themselves from said trolls.

Where SomethingAwful and Reddit meet.
I'll have to take your word for that, I've never been on either site-I'm guessing the first is stuffed with sickening pictures and the latter is full of aggressive anti-thiests?

Advice Forums...

"Come and ignore whiney people asking questions about shit that you have no idea about..."

At least that's what goes through my mind anyway... occasionally I comfort someone who just lost a girlfriend, or struggles to make friends, but other than that the threads are pretty much ignored! :/

R&P - Not actually as bad as everyone makes out

I think Off-Topic should definitely have a random motto that is changed every day. That way we could have a daily discussion thread on the random topic - it'd be really fun.
