Seriously tho, Fox have been knocking games out for years, maybe decades, the whole point is their gaming section isn't aiming at the same audience that nods in agreement when Bill O Reilly is mocking rape victims or some other charming piece of whimsy. So long as Fox don't release a Manhunt, or a COD with a terrorist level, they're pretty much in the clear.

Some horses start out strong and fail along the way, some start out slow and come from behind to win, and some are shot through the skull at the starting gate before the race begins. This is the latter. This idea is terrible and I have no idea how any developer can respond to this idea with anything more then a loud "FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU..."
Isn't the main problem here that in an MMO people are nooone special, they create a character then go about doing whatever they want on the server.
I can't see how a server made up of 50/50 stewie/peter would be a good thing/idea. Yet if they do unique character creation in the world of family guy this also fails as everyone will want to play as their favourite character.

Well, if you think about it, the Mafia (at least the Godfather's Mafia, not the real one) has built in levels (made-man, enforcer, don, etc.), missions (intimidate X, shoot Y, etc.), weapons (tomies, shotguns, pistols, etc.) and other characteristics of a MMO that made it easy to make into one. Some properties are begging for a MMO, including I think even Halo and My Little Pony:FiM (both have a basic class system with the species/sub-species, skills to level up, customization, etc.). Family Guy isn't one of them. How would you level up? What will the gameplay be like? What would be the reward for spending hours and hours in the game? What would you be doing? be an unlikeable one dimensional character that insults people of libertarian/conservative/religious views because your an elitist who thinks their funny because they have cut away joke that are poorly timed and don't make any contextual sense, while you try and teach a lesson about how political correctness interferes with free speech by makeing joke that arent so much politically incorrect as they are in just bad fucking taste, and meanwhile another family is doing the same thing but with no cut aways makeing them slightly more tolerable but overall still unlikable, AND MEANWHILE this shit goes down an actual intelligent cartoon that teaches messages WITHOUT self contradiction and in a non forceful manner is canceled to make room for the lesser of the 3 families?
yeah....this game wont last.
