First off how can you be radically left and right, while also being Libertarian?
Right means less Government control, left means more, and Libertarains mostly
believe in Minarchism [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minarchism].
And secondly Bill is just one of the many who give their opinion on Fox.
So why do you hate all of fox just because of Bill?
Well, for one that's a very shallow-minded look at what the Left and Right-wing stand for. Especially in recent years conservatives have been pushing for alot more government control (See Patriot Act, attempt to add an amendment to the constitution banning gay marriage, etc.).
Perhaps the term "Classic Liberal" is a better one. I believe that, personally, as long as your actions are not infringing on another person's liberties, then the government has no say is regulating them (IE the radical stances of legalizing marijuana and 0 gun control, etc. etc.).
However, I do understand that my personal beliefs may not be practical, especially in the realm of economics.
To put it best, you know how there was the whole ruckus over the stimulus plan? With democrats supporting it and Republicans opposing spending any money? I would've preferred the money be used to create more government jobs directly, instead of just sort of throwing it out there.
I agree with the freedom of personal lives, to an extent far beyond most Liberals, but also am familiar with the bureaucracy of our government and see that it needs a serious reworking to be effective.
To respond to your second question: 1. I don't hate all of Fox simply because of O'Reilly
2. I hate them because of their many other pundits (Hannity, who conveniently lost his Liberal counter weight, Glenn Beck who, now that he has jumped ship to fox, has changed many of his opinions, especially on the nations medical system, plus he's just plain crazy) as well as their incompetent anchors, although Bill is something of a figure head for Fox.
I mean, honestly, whenever you hear about this "Big Video Game Controversy" it's usually starting with some Fox news anchor either outright lying or making giant leaps on logic to try to sell a sensationalist news story.
Oh, also the fact that they organized a movement, sponsored it with their station, then referred to it as "Grassroots" may be an indication of their lack of professional standards.
That and the fact that, as soon as administrations changed, they made a U-turn from their oh so common "Questioning the president means you hate the U.S." to "We will question the president like no other."
I don't mind questioning the president, it's healthy and needed, but don't give me that kind of BS.
