Dungeon Fighter online: an online brawler with unmatched complexity and awesomeness
League of Legends: The best DoTA clone I've ever seen, even better than DoTA was.

I'm sorry you just lost every second of your free time to these two games.

Let's see,out of the ones not mentioned I would have to say that you get Eversion and the original Crayon Physics. Then if you like them, buy the enhanced versions and support the developers.

An Untitled Story is also quite good.

I know you said stay away from flash unless it's good, so I'd like to offer this:

Wink: the Game
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/269009

I played it several years ago, and I remember it as having a lot of character.

The game is a great third person shooter. I like it better than guns because it has less hackers and the fact that you get 3 interchageble weapons and you can customize yourself to be what ever kind on player you want and not stuck with a specific class. Sniper, heavy arms, defender oh and my favorite weapon is the smash rifle, not only for it's long distance and damage but it's the only gun that doubles as melee and because of the melee it has earned the nick name THE PIMP HAND

System Shock 2 is free? Could you tell me where I could get it?

Where is System Shock 2 abailable for free? I have been wanting to play that game for years.
I thought it was available on the main site but I can't see it there, I'm fairly sure it's available though.
One second...

I found a link here... It's to System Shock 1, though.

http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/24684/System+Shock.html

That site is good for older games, and then there's this...

http://www.reloaded.org/

... for newer ones.

If you're looking for an MMO, then...

http://dungeonfighter.nexon.net/
http://mabinogi.nexon.net/
http://vindictus.nexon.net/

I've played all 3. Mabinogi and Dungeon Fighter are easier to run, and I found them more enjoyable.

For low graphical quality 3D games, try...
http://www.mdickie.com/hist_2003.htm

I can't promise you'll like them, but they used to entertain me.

There's a lot of others I can get, if you give me time and message me about it.

Oh, and don't forget Daggerfall and Arena. They're both good, if old.

Also try Nethack and ZAngband, T.O.M.E. and Spelunky.

Although it's been said already, play Dwarf Fortress. The learning curve may be closer to a vertical line, but Fun [http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/Fun] is guaranteed.

I've been playing "Exit Fate" recently. It's an RPG, very similar to Suikoden, made with RPG Maker... WAIT, COME BACK, it really is a good game. You can get it from the creator's site:

I think Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy is classed as abandonware these days. I personally loved as a kid, and am replaying it at the moment.
