fucking misanthropes...seriously I can't think of a more non-sensical pointless Idea

somone said it brilliantly

8,000+ years of social development since the agricultural revolution, on top of 200,000 years of species evolution. It's a feat unique in the history of the earth.

Humanity doesn't exist to please the ideals of individuals, but it's done a damn fine job of developing itself. If you don't have faith in that achievement, your faith is probably misplaced."
Certain people seem to confuse realism with misanthropy. Stating the obvious, that were few of us enjoy the technological advantages you speak of, that the majority of us are still farmers and that many many many of us live in absolute poverty is not misanthropy.

As for the planet and the exclusive achievements of mankind, well it's nothing from a universal perspective.

I hate my own innate sense of shame and inadequacy.

So there. Hows that for brutal honesty, eh?

...

I'm going to go eat a large amount of ice-cream now.

I hate people who install an RTS like DoW2 and immediately throw themselves into ranked TEAM(!) games online. What the bloody hell...

If you don't know the game and you absolutely must have a ranked online match, play 1v1. Don't put yourself in a position where somebody else is going to be depending on you to know what you're doing if you couldn't possibly meet that expectation. Because you're a prick if you do.

Losing in a team should only feel better- in the way that responsibility is diffused- when you're actually at an equal level of competence. When you do the above, the loss is still 100% your fault.

I blame casuals for this a lot of the time, and I'm pretty confident making that identification based on the way that they communicate. These are usually literate people who're there to have fun and don't really give much thought as to whether they're going the right way about it. They're often shocked by my quite justifiable hostility, admit to being hurt or shaken and often leave- which is fine by me.

Oh, in before: "Hurr no fun allowed".

I'm more interested in a good game than I am in winning or losing, but to have a good game there must be some back-and-forth, some chance at victory for both sides. There's no worming out of the fact that casuals and inconsiderate gamers who jump straight in as if to prove something- but for some reason can't do this alone- rule out any chance of a good game for the poor guy saddled with their fail-heavy burden.

If you've ever been a burden like this, casual or no, you're bad and you should feel bad.

Edit: Just a quick note. If you've been playing for 10 months and you're still distinctly average, that's completely fine. If you can demonstrate some familiarity with the controls and the way the matches are actually won- basic game mechanics- I might be disappointed that I got teamed with you, but I wouldn't have a go at you. I tend only to have a go when someone admits they got the game 'today' and it's their first or second battle. Why would anyone...

Hate is too strong a word really. There isn't anything around that brings out enough negative emotion in me to warrant me hating it.

There are a hell of a lot of things I truly dislike but not enough to make me want to purge them with fire.

Except maybe misanthropes. I can almost drum up enough emotion to hate them. I really, really don't like the "I have lost faith in humanity" shit I see some people splurge out in great wads of verbal diarrhea.

And they generally seem to be miserable bastards with nothing good to say or anything at all worth listening to for that matter. And I genuinely dislike miserable people like that.

That pretty much covers my biggest dislike .... apart from spiders.

And Brussel Sprouts.

And Jehovas Witnesses .... Seriously, stop knocking on my door. I'm going to have to train my kids to chase them down the street and bite them .... or it may be easier to buy a dog.

I hate the music industry - so many good artists get shunted by x-factor contesters, awful rappers and basic singers. WOW! You can sing! Well done, so can a lot of people; now try singing and playing an instrument at the same time, that's talent. Throw in being a band manager just to turn up the talent bar, then and only then you might be worth some big £££.

I hate twilight as well. Book & film. It's got too much popularity for such a crappy book and piss-poor film series.

3D really grind my gears too; I am not playing £1000 for an illusion of 3D than only works if you sit in an exact spot to see a false 3D. True 3D is where you can turn your head and gain a different perspective, see around the object; not see two of it. Fuck off 3D, I'm gonna' wait 4 years for holographic, the TRUE 3D.

No, no. Go with the attack-kids thing. They can't be put down by a court order as easily as a poor dog.

I h8 when people type "hate" as "h8". Wait a minute... oh shi-

"Hypocrite police. You're going to have to come with us."
"Please, no! I can edit the post! I can change it back! Give me a moment...!"
"Edit it as you want, it won't change the fact that you are guilty of breaking a standard that you hold others to."
"Nooooooooo~"

And I was never seen again. Wait I guess I typed that so you won't believe that. Um... oh right.

I hate people who say they hate things, but they really only dislike. HATE IS DIFFERENT TO DISLIKE! Hate implies some level of extreme rage against something. It is a strong word that has lost allot of it's meaning due to people who just throw words around. People are so willing to hate these days.

Let's see...Politicians, intolerance, little necessary expenditures ruining a chance to have fun, advanced computer use, ultra-reliance on computers, hipsters, emos who have never had anything anywhere near bad happen to them, and yet complain about their lives, being too hungry to lie in, modern pop music, modern rap music, including the fact that snoop dogg never makes his own stuff anymore, just popping up in other, inferior artist's songs, people who don't realise I actually have other important stuff to do besides uni work, and thus need just a little break from it to do them, when the urge to get a girlfriend ruins my mood on a night out, and chihuahuas.

I hate my old boss. I switched jobs there, and he suddenly decided I was an evil bastard simply because I stopped working for him specifically. Even though he came to me in the first place and I worked with him as a favor. Although he's a lazy fuck on a power trip, so he's probably just mad that one of his best workers no longer has to listen to him. /rant

I hate how people ignore other people in every day life.

I hate extreme religious or other ways fundamental people who can only have biased opinions.

I hate or more like dislike pointless, forever going debates that lead nowhere. Much like neo131x and Aeonknight are having above.

But actually I hate mostly hating things, because it makes me and usually others around me feel just bad. It seems that someone agrees :)

I kinda hate it when people go out of their way to stir up hate. Like this thread. Seriously, what good can come of this?
So I hate me when I purely hate something and I disapprove haters in general.

Oh and this is a good point (although I'm not agreeing on the topic that hate implies rage):

It is not surprise to me, but I have noticed too, or for me it just seems, that people are easily becoming on/off types. Hate and love are both becoming just a word. Easy to say 'I hate'.

Politics/Politicians, pop music/the music industry - pop, hip-hop, dance, Rn'B etc.; The X-Factor, Radio 1, a lot of these bloody popular celebrities - Britney Spears, Jordan et al; ignorant/arrogant/unreasonable people, spiders, computers/games crashing/freezing, society today, political correctness, the 'system', the job market - lack of jobs, ridiculously difficult to get jobs etc.; noisy, spoilt kids, sports, sports games, druggies, violent/aggressive/intimidating people, the majority of these big budget, over-the-top, CGI infested movies (all style and no substance), chavs, childish/immature CoD players, being depressed, chick flicks (romantic comedies), getting into arguments/debates...

That's only the tip of the iceberg...
