I'm really boring and just have them with salt. Unless I have potato and gravy or a chocolate shake with me, then I dip them in that. You wouldn't think fries and milk would go together but damn is it yum!

Oh, did I forget to list chili, cheese and jalepenos?

Captcha: good work

I thought so too.

Depends on where they're from. If we're talking McDonald's or somewhere where the fries are comparatively good, then I don't obscure the flavor with any condiments. But when the fries can't satisfyingly stand on their own (most pressingly, when attempting to eat reheated McDonald's fries), ketchup's your best friend.

Step 1: along with the fries, aquire one of those deep fried sausages (whatever they're called in english).
Step 2: cut the sausage lengthwise but not all the way though so you have kind of a meaty hotdog bun.
Step 3: dip fries in sauce of your choosing and stuff them in the "bun".
Step 4: add chopped onion (optional).
Step 4: eat it like a hotdog.

If it looks something like this you did it right:

Alternatively, go to any Belgian snackbar and order an "open wound". That's what we call them because we're classy like that.

With Ketchup / mayonnaise usually sometimes honey/mustard sauce.

Sometimes with salt, depending on where i am. Takeouts / stands usually put it on them, at home i don't bother with it.

And then i shove them in my mouth by the truckload.

French fries are little thin sticks of fat. Ewww. I prefer Uk Chips, nice and chunky, crisp on the outside and nice and fluffy in the middle. Lots of salt and onion vinegar and brown sauce. Yum.

I jam them into my rice and eat them together. A bit of wasabi mayo ontop. BAM. Awesome on a plate.

Occasionally I season them with some Old Bay.

If I still have some of it left, I will dip them in honey mustard (because there are things I'd rather use the honey mustard on first).

My weapon of choice is barbecue sauce, however. Similar texture to ketchup, but far more awesome taste.

Gotta remember to pick up more bottles before I go home.
You, sir, have awakened my hunting instinct. I must find this!

Sometimes plain, sometimes with ketchup, but my favorite is with melted cheese and bacon bits.

Stuffed into a burger. Nothing fills out a burger, whether from mcdonalds or anywhere like opening the burger, layering on the fries, and then closing and consuming.

That or with bacon and cheese.

Or if excellent just with salt or chicken-salt

or with ketchup.

Or with a ketchup/mayonaise hybrid sauce

or with ranch

or whatever the fuck takes my fancy at the time lol

Depending on what condiment I've got on hand, I usually go for ketchup or BBQ sauce (if I'm eating chicken strips). But, as a kid, I did eat McDonald's french fries by dipping them into the inside of their hot apple pies. The mix of salty and sweet was very tasty.

Hmmm, we just call the fired potatoes here and since dad gets them from our garden and slices them in thin pieces and fries them until they become like chips.

Anyway, rarely do I eat the with anything, just straight up, but since it's becoming the usual dinner I might as well try ketchup and mustard :p

Holy Crap?! It's the holy grail! Where can I find this priceless treasure? I must have for BBQ season.
