I used to have one about a month ago where I was in a glass box hanging from a chain above a never-ending hole filled with darkness. Then Pyramid Head came in and I was yelling for him to kill me rather then send me down the hole.

I have boring dreams in comparison. They seem like real life when I'm in them, but it's only when I wake up I realise something was actually strange...

I love those kinds dreams , especially if i realize half way in i am dreaming .

Another personal favorite is i dream that i am dreaming . So when i wake up from my second dream , i believe my first dream is real life . Then when i wake up from my first dream i am like" FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU".

No. I actually have not had a bad dream in years. I can't remember the last time I had a nightmare. Anyway, have you seen any IRL graphic violence recently? That might be causing those dreams.

I have only had one nightmare come back to haunt me twice.

It's about a giant spider that I guess is evil and is trying to eat me and my family. It is very werid. I remember that in the first dream about it he was trying to eat me and my family and mostly succeded but then in the second dream about it him and a army of spiders were destroying a underground city and then the comes to me and talkes to me....

Whats werid is that I'm not even afraid of spiders. Huh.

Thoses are the only nightmares that I remember. In hindsight they weren't even super scary.

I get them frequently, and they are a good sign of repressed emotional issues.

Seriously, if you get a dream often that isnt good its a definate sing that you need to look at your mind a little deeper.

Dont have dreams since my its my body that enters a resting state. (not my mind, for the next couple hours i know my ceiling fan is on, when the vent comes on ect). In my few dreams, it tends to place me in vietnan(during the war), in the halo forge(sandbox), as a spy, or having sex with someone i have never seen. Thats the general themes of my life. I guess they are graphic, and kinda have a decent story with them, but not recurring.

All of my bad dreams involve me losing my teeth in one way or another.

I'm really freaky about teeth. Losing my teeth would be terrible.

Thats because you actually can't die in a dream, because if you do you would actually die "irl". You can dream of dying, like how the op dreamt of hara kiri, or falling to the ground or something, but the moment your heart would stop in the dream, it would really stop. I read this years ago, and can't remember where, sorry if someone is interested.

/Edit: Funny thing about the dreams where u fall to the ground: It's actually pretty hard to die from that instantly, you have to fall on your head or something, otherwise, without help, you die slowly from your bleeding organs, but somehow our mind thinks that you die when you hit the ground...
Fun story, i think i had a dream where i almost died. I can actually believe this. Like it was so fucking scary i measured my heart rate and checked myself over a few times to make sure i wasnt suffering some sort of attack.

In my dream i was in a room. Outside was hard vacuum. The air slowly runs out, i fall, suddenly white. Now in my dream im passed out, and while dream me is suffocating, im dreaming in my dream about a huge oxygen rich forest. Which over the course of about 5 mins slowly fades to white yet again. A sudden burst of white hot pain in my jugular and im kinda flying/falling into a bright light. I woke up gasping and hyper ventilating, it felt like someone had flushed out my jugular vien with liquid fire. I was fucking TERRIFIED. I think you can die in dreams and die in real life. And i think i came pretty fucking close.

However last night i dreampt i was dovakin/lonewanderer, which was kickass and involved miniguns/super strength. That was a fucking awesome dream. I was kicking complete ass. Its kinda the dream where you realise youre some sort of super human bad ass and just go around enjoying it. Twas fun as hell.

The last bad dream I had I remember being in a ruin with a pale little girl in a white tattered dress following me everywhere I go and a demon chihuahua was trying to kill me. I also suffered from sleep paralysis and that was especially terrifying, after an episode I could not sleep all night.

When I was sick with cancer I would have this reoccurring dream that I would wake up in the hospital and see this figure standing in my doorway. As soon as I saw it I would instinctively know it was death. It never really looked like death, it just looked like a person. But, every time I saw it I would just know in my mind that it was death and that he'd come for me. I'd wake up terrified every time. Luckily it stopped on its own but god dammit I hated those nightmares.

Yeah, I have frequent bad dreams as well, though there does not seem to be a pattern to them, other then it containing random disturbing/disgusting content. One time it might be me having a ridiculous amount of soft teeth, covering nearly my entire mouth (really disgusting feeling. God Fucking damn it.), while the other time it might be someone else's head getting crushed.

It is seriously starting to piss me off. I hate waking up with such disturbing memories. It takes some time to get them out of my head, but by the time I succeed I stop feeling tired.

I haven't had a nightmare for a long time.

Am I starting to miss them? I don't even remember the last nightmare I had. And that's odd. You normally are about to wake up when you have a nightmare, so you are more likely to remember them.

The only time I would ever remember a nightmare would be that I wake up as I am "about to die". I'm gonna assume that's common though...

I don't think you do. I'd rather not remember my dreams than remember the terrifying ones.

I haven't had a nightmare in like fifteen years. I am able to recall my dreams for a few minutes after waking up, though most of it (the dull stuff) is forgotten fairly quickly. So I'm quite sure about not having nightmares.

There are tons of shit in my subconcious that could produce some delicious bad dreams, but they never get the upper hand. Although most of my dreams are not lucid, I always feel... in control? That's probably the right description. Everytime something threatens me, I also have some means to defeat it at my disposal.

Kind of. Then again kind of not. In that I have this girl I keep meeting in my dreams. Sometimes she looks different but I can always tell it's the same girl. She's basically perfect and the dreams themselves are some of the best things I have ever experienced but whenever I wake up from them I get really pissed and am generally in a bad mood for a few days due to the fact I know that it wasn't real, she doesn't exist and I'll probably never be that happy in real life.
Not sure if that counts as a bad dream though. I suppose it's actually the waking up that's the bad part.

I once had a nightmare where my school was filled with Cannibals. Kind of like in "Tree House of Horror 6" from The Simpsons, but the students were cannibals as well. I escaped after running through dark, pipe filled halls (Which isn't real of my School I can assure you). I was running towards the police station (Which is pretty close in real life but was further in the dream), but then everything went back to normal at the school while I was in between the buildings. Then I basically woke up when I started complaining to other students who had no Idea what I was talking about.

Another Nightmare was I married this nice girl, but on our "Honeymoon" it turns out that she's really just some green gloop who wanted to eat me. After jumping out the window, I woke up into another nightmare where I was awake but my eyes wouldn't open. I kept tugging at my eye lids and they started to open up somewhat, not painfully or gruesomely or anything, but then I really woke up.

I don't have reoccurring Nightmares though, besides the falling kind which aren't scary. I once suffered Dream Paralysis for a couple of seconds or a minute before snapping out of it, though I don't remember to what dream (Certainly wasn't a Lucid one). Also, sometimes Dreams replay to make themselves clear, and the ones I do remember are some kind of Movies or TV shows, but I don't remember what they were, and I don't remember any of their details. They weren't real.

I don't have nightmares, but I do have some recurring dream themes. The one that come sup most is that I am in a school and I don't know where my next class is. I am usually in high school (despite graduating about 5 years ago and knowing I was supposed to have been out of school already) and I just end up wandering around hoping to find my schedule or someone to tell me where to go.
