No, oddly enough I get lucky on Fri the 13th. Last time I found £50, and today I managed to have a conversation with the girl I've been trying to talk to for ages.

I always have good Friday the 13ths as well. The devil obviously favours me.

My phone froze at 5:09 this morning. I slept an extra hour and a half because I thought it was 5 for three hours.

Not yet, actually today has been awesome so far. My plan of work has been approved so I will finish grad school in December and start my 70K+ job in January and I'm going to go see Scott Pilgrim vs. the world or the expendables later today (haven't decided which yet).

My laptop decided there was something wrong and asked if i wanted to restore to a previous date when it was working properly.

Wtf ? :S I booted as normal and things are fine.

Had a major, inexplicable iTunes fuckup on today of all days. It decided it didn't want to sync with my iPod, so I had to restore it to factory settings. It then took a dislike to about a quarter of my music library and simply refused to upload those songs, so I had to then delete everything and re-add it to iTunes, accompanied by much swearing and violent gestures. Happily, everything now appears fine (I'm sure it won't be, but it seems to be as of now).

So what about you, Escapists? Any tales of misfortune and ill chance today?

PS: On a side note, my sister was born on Friday 13th.

Um... if they had little exclamation points next to them, it's because you changed the destination of the music (from one folder to another). It's happened to me a few times. Not sure if that was the issue though.

I had one of my co-workers ***** me out intensely before I even made my frist call at work today. I wouldn't call it misfortune, because she's a *****, but it's put me in a seriously foul mood

I played good samaritan.

I went out shopping in the rain with an umbrella and DIDN'T get drenched.

It's every OTHER day of the year I have shitty luck. Friday 13th is my redemption.

My brother's back from visiting family in Quebec, and if you knew my brother, you'd be dreading this day as he is such a *Insert extremely rude word of your choice here* and overall not a good person.
