He stated that he thought the release date of the new move "The Expendables" was on the 16th, considering another poster said it came out today.
I said it's 13th in America, (It being the relase date.) implying it would be different from the nationwide release.

Please don't go calling me a dumbass, unless I am actually being a dumbass.

EDIT: Actually, he could've been talking about the movie or the Iron Maiden album.

Had a major, inexplicable iTunes fuckup on today of all days. It decided it didn't want to sync with my iPod, so I had to restore it to factory settings. It then took a dislike to about a quarter of my music library and simply refused to upload those songs, so I had to then delete everything and re-add it to iTunes, accompanied by much swearing and violent gestures. Happily, everything now appears fine (I'm sure it won't be, but it seems to be as of now).

So what about you, Escapists? Any tales of misfortune and ill chance today?

PS: On a side note, my sister was born on Friday 13th.

Um... if they had little exclamation points next to them, it's because you changed the destination of the music (from one folder to another). It's happened to me a few times. Not sure if that was the issue though.

I know what you mean, I've had that before, but that wasn't the problem. Some of the songs do have the exclamation marks, but there didn't seem to be a correlation between the marked ones and the problem ones. There didn't seem to be much of a correlation at all, actually.

Any extremely good friend of mine's mum ended up getting arrested yesterday in such a way that ruined my plans with her(My friend, not her mum) for today and tomorrow, and pushed up the date she was leaving for about four months (During which I probably won't see her) to today.

So it's already an excellent day.

A few years ago on a friday 13th when I was at school I got shat on by a bird.

Luckily it landed on my tie so I just took it off, rinsed it and put it in a food bag to stop it from going on anything else.

Ate the last bit of ice cream
Found my WWII helmet
Made a post that was apparently full of win on 4chan
Found a new wallpaper
My old friends came over after I hadn't seen them for a few years


All of this happened in one day so far.
Fuck yeah. I want it to be Friday the 13th everyday.
