Besides the fact I had to work today, it was pretty good. Tripping over things, getting bitten by the shop cat, running really late on the delivery. Nope just a normal day for me.

Nothing particularly bad has happenned to me so far today, and there's only an hour left of it, so I'm hoping I don't get hit by a bus in my own house for now.
I did just notice I haven't eaten all day because I have no food in my fridge, though that is explainable because I've been away for two weeks.

Also: How many people's birthdays is it today?

My electric *swear word ommited* tin opener ran out of battery half way round the tin of condensed chicken soup I needed for my dinner. So while the rest of my dinner burned, I was tearing off the *swear word ommited* tin opener, doing damage to both the blasted device and my hand.

Well fuck. I never even noticed to be honest .. maybe that's why nothing bad has happened so far .. and it's pretty late so I think I'm in the clear.

Yes actually.
Friday the thirteenth was actually Yesterday in Australia and at about three o'clock in the morning, my grandfather died.
He was ninety three and in hospital and he died peacefully in his sleep. I am very thankful however, that my mother, two sisters and myself went to visit him the night before.

It's not only Friday, but also the 13th? Huh. Well I guess that shows just how much attention I pay to the calender. I got some Scott Pilgrim in the mail, read it, and went to see the movie with some friends today, so I don't think I've had any bad luck.

My parents were married on Black Friday. Hence my general disregard for superstition.
Black Friday, what's that again? Is it something economic, or am I getting it mixed up with Black Monday?
Black Friday = Friday the 13th.
In America, Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving, so named because Retailers go into the black (finally).

Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. The term dates back to at least 1966, although its usage was primarily on the East coast. The term has become more common in other parts of the country since 2000. Because Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States, Black Friday occurs between the 23rd and the 29th of November. According to Reuters, in 2007 135 million people participated in the Black Friday shopping rush.[1]
Black Friday is not an official holiday, but as many workers have the day off as part of the Thanksgiving holiday, this increases the number of potential shoppers. Retailers often decorate for the Christmas and holiday season weeks beforehand. Many retailers open extremely early, with most of the retailers typically opening at 5AM or even earlier. Some of the larger retailers (depending on the location) such as Sears, Best Buy, Macy's, Toys "R" Us, and Walmart have been reported to open as early as midnight on the start of Black Friday in localized areas and remain open for 24 hours throughout the day until midnight the following Saturday. Upon opening, retailers offer doorbuster deals and loss leaders to draw people to their stores. Although Black Friday, as the first shopping day after Thanksgiving, has served as the unofficial beginning of the Christmas season at least since the start of the modern Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924, the term "Black Friday" has been traced back only to the 1960s.

The term "Black Friday" may have originated in Philadelphia, where was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving. (see Origin of the name "Black Friday" below). More recently, merchants and the media have used it instead to refer to the beginning of the period in which retailers go from being in the red (i.e., posting a loss on the books) to being in the black (i.e., turning a profit).
What a spectacularly complicated post. I take it though that you are not saying I'm wrong per se. Here is good old Wikipedia on the issue:

Radiator went out in a truck I borrowed.

Today, I went to get hay so the horses my dad owns can get through the winter. We have a 2500, but the clutch went out this week, so I had to borrow a friend's beat up '91 Ford 150. It's a piece of crap. The AC is shot, there is no handle for the door, the windows don't work, the seatbelts are iffy, and the parking break is only reliable in that if you park on a hill you won't find the truck in the same spot when you get back. I get there, load up in the wonderful 98 degrees weather, and as I put the last bale on the trailer the radiator explodes. It didn't spring a leak. The damn thing had a hole punched in it.

So calls were made and finally a few hours later a shiny new radiator arrives. I spent the time in the sun or baking in the cab. Finally the thing arrives and it gets put in, then the clouds roll in and a thunderstorm hits. The hay is ruined. I drive back listening to air because the radio doesn't work either.

Nothing. In fact, I just bought Oblivion for only 5 pounds, so this is a good day.
Today for some reason, almost every new game I've made for Oblivion has caused it to glitchy and become unplayable. DID I STEP ON A CRACK OR SOMETHING?!!? *NERD RAGE*
