I have had a few friends with benefits and it has always worked out just fine for me. When either of us would get involved with someone serious, we would just stop and everything worked out great. It is best to state your intentions right from the start. Let her know this is all it will ever be and you should be fine.

As stated make sure she knows the boundaries, also make it clear that if it starts getting 'serious' or if she starts getting to attached and starts crying after sex about her periods whatever girls cry about that you will break it off with her.

I've been doing that with a girl for over a year now and it works fine. Also she works and I am a student so she will take me out, feed me, get me drunk and then we have sex. Its awesome.

For some reason just the thought of a relationship based on sex digusts me to no end. I guess it has to do with being exposed to a realtionship based on mutual respect where sex is a rare occurance brought on by a spur of love for one another.

I don't suggest having a relationship just for sex. It could ruin both your lives and yes, you could possibly end up with a pregnancy. In which case you're going to have to sort out what you plan on doing in such an occasion and be ready to deal with the consequences.

But then again these are just words coming from a 17 year old girl, so I won't be surprised if you choose not to listen.

I will end my last post for the night morning by saying that I think that you are taking a risk that has too many negative outcomes. What you have to decide for yourself is if "getting some on the side" is worth potentially ruining both your lives.

Oh god, don't do it.

If you think you're leading the girl on then that thought will probably bother you for a while, I know it did to me.
When I called it off, I had to deal with a weepy, emotional lass and it broke my heart to do so.

Why did I break it off?
Because she wanted more than I wanted to give at the time and I felt bad for saying, "Hey sorry, I don't want what you want".
It's rather crushing to think on it, especially since I lost a friend.
