Stupid upper-class technophobe. All she is doing is basing her judgements on a stereotype of gamers which has long since been inaccurate.

So unlike ANY game you can play on the computer.
The difference between a physical gaming experience and a digital one is merely the medium.
One can PLAY a game of monopoly, cluedo, chess, on the computer if one so desires, just as one is also able to indulge themselves to a game of Call of duty, Gears of War, Halo 3(God forbid) and just about any other game you could think of.
In a physical gaming environment, one is limited by the contraints of budget, company, and REALITY.
In a digital gaming environment, pretty much anything is possible, physics are malleble, your pawns are intelligent (well, more so) and just as exspendable, your setting and situation is totally contrived and practically anything is possible.
I still enjoy the odd game of chess, but not with my family as they have little time to deal with such affairs.
Instead I turn to the computer and go find some facebook application with which I am able to do battle with thousands of like-minded players such as myself in the most intense turn based form.
Oh the mind-numbingness.
I shall assume that you have read the follow up article, on *why* she will sarcastically renounce her former statement about games being made by the devil, and instead reinstate it only MORE FUCKING STUPID.
Firstly, Satan, as told from the bible, is not around to make us into zombies.
On the contrary he is around to make us SIN.
A brainless fucking vegedable is not able to SIN as it has no intent.
The only reason she is against all this shit is because it plays upon her own fucking insecurities.
