Nope. If the person who attacked me needs to be described to be caught, then so be it.

It's okay to say 'black' now... It's the term the government uses(on the 2010 census form[I think]), and President Obama basically said it was okay(I think).

Most black people I know won't get mad at you for calling them black...

No I can't say I have, because when someone asks me for money they play the race card. That is one of the stupidest arguments in history. What would a white supremicist gain from not giving people money. Also, a few of the Mexican kids feel its perfectly fine they can use the word "******", they've used it on me before. I'm white. As hell. Another thing, those people with their heads shoved so far up their asses that they think that "Hey your white, you can't use the "N" word", Fuck you its a goddamned WORD I don't wanna use it, but the constitution allows me to. Plus the assholes who say its politically incorrect to call someone "black"(yes I've been called racist for saying black) are just increasing the racial tension between the races of people, I and mean what the fuck? I can't call someone black? That's his nationality! HE didn't come from Africa!

Yeah, so when someone of another nationality gets me in trouble, I have no problem reporting them. /rant
Well I don't know about YOUR constitution-not that I disagree, but not all of us are American-....
Yeah, it was more of a personal rant.

"It's pollitical correctness gone mad!"
Haha, funny how many people (and media institutions) would take that in all seriousness. Doubtless before an 'I'm not racist but....' comment/letter
You can't even scrawl a racial slur in excrement on someone's car these days without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!

Stewart Lee ftw.

I personally have never had any trouble using the word 'black' to describe someone (it's much simpler than saying 'minority ethnic group member') but I do find the concept of the 'N word' being offensive a little unusual.

'******' was originally a racist term of abuse (as we should all know) until an attempt was made by many black people to turn this on it's head by making it into a term of endearment (making the racist slur lose all the sting it once posessed), however, if there are people who get touchy and defensive over other races using 'their word' (which in itself would be a racist accusation) then it is completely undermining the intentions of those who wanted to change it from being a term of abuse into a friendly acknowledgement.

In the interests of equality this would technically mean that either the 'shielding' around the N word has to drop or other races should be allowed their own words too ('how dare you say the I word! you're not Irish!'), the first option would be the preferable way to go though and would help more towards this whole 'equality' thing everyone wants so badly.

I'm white and I would have said to the cops that a crazy ****** cut me in the face.
I'm no racist, though, because I don't care about race.
This. I probably would've thrown more '******'s in there for good effect.

I'm really tired of the whole "race" issue. Everyone should be treated equal, not blacks better than whites, or Asians better than whites... Listen, I go to a very very expensive private high school, and almost all of the students who aren't either Korean or white American are on financial aid. What I'm saying is that the school will accept ethnic students because of their race before their qualifications, even when they have to pay for them to be there. That really pisses me off, because I fell like it only further reinforces my own racist beliefs, because now whenever I see a black or Hispanic student, I automatically think that they have some kind of financial aid.
