I am very surprised that no one has mentioned this film. It is pure brilliance from start to finish. The talent in this film alone is enough to prove its brilliance, Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, Madeline Kahn, and written by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder.

the younger than 5 years is likely to be hot fuzz and similiar films, I can't really think of any right now.

Tied between Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy in terms of being flat out funny. (Especially hard since the former one is more "witty" and "joking" and the latter is flat-out insane and random...and funny....not that Scott Pilgrim has no moments or randomness, like the musical number and the totally out-of-nowhere Seinfeld Reference, but i digress...)

As for older Movies, i also cannot decide between Airplane!, The Naked Gun Trilogy or Monty Phyton: Quest for the Holy Grail
