The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) said that pulling ‘No Mercy’ from Steam was the correct decision.
Aren't these people just the rebrand of Morality In Media, or am I getting them confused with another group? Also, I could probably find the kind of content that's allegedly in this game with a Bing video search (Google video search sucks for things that aren't on YouTube) with the right keywords and Safe Search turned off.

This I disagree with, I don’t want to starve in a possible crisis.
It highlights one of the key reasons that tariffs can be pointless: the government might earn billions from tariffs... except many of those billions are then spent compensating home production from the losses caused by retaliatory tariffs.

Given enough years, it may be possible for agriculture to adapt around tariffs - find new markets, or other ways of doing things. But then tariffs need to be steady and reliable for long periods of time (and preferably introduced with plenty of advance warning) so that industries can make their business plans around the tariffs. After all, it's not like farmers can rip out all their crops and replant new ones overnight if the president suddenly fucks them over by wiping out one of their major markets.

That just makes them bigger failures as farmers, failures as men, and failures as Americans. And anyone making excuses for that is a failure too.
Farming in the US is like the opposite of a free market, that's just what it is, not giving an excuse. When the same thing happens under another administration, no complaints from you guys, farmers constantly need bailouts. Also, the tariffs are like just in effect for China.

Excuses. Excuses. Excuses. There's no room for soypilled whining like that with President Trump in charge. Either they nut up and join the American Race, or die their hair blue and take up something more their speed, like barista, DEI consultant or IT support.

It has been said this is actually a member of a vigilante group and not an actual ice agent.
blackshirts were inevitable in the subculture and neither the nation's media nor the political parties have done anything except nurture the conditions for them to thrive, albeit with increasing agitation at not being able to fully live out their violent fantasies as far and openly as they crave, till now

cannot be arsed with this endless fuckery met with one omnipresently repeating paralysed soyfaced pikachu from those with any power to enforce anything

I love it when bullshit gets called out for what is.
I find some of this idea of "woke gaming" stuff quite sad.

When I was a teen and young adult, I was a "geek" - science fiction and fantasy, telnet chat boards, computer gaming, RPGs, etc. My experience of most people in these communities was that they were generally liberal: outcasts from the mainstream, and thus generally tolerant of others who were also exiled from the mainstream - including for reasons that made them vastly more vulnerable to societal discrimination.

I guess one of the downsides of gaming becoming mainstream was that it was then colonised by boorish, small-minded oafs who tried to impose their bullshit on everyone else, just like people like that always have - it's just that 20 years ago, people like that weren't gamers. I think of gaming as a place where a lot of people like the younger me went to get away from those pricks.

That's because some of them wormed their way in, or certain other fools, let them waltz in without so much as a second thought.

I don't feel sad because it's not worth crying about overall. The indies won't stop with representation of different people's, races, religions, gender, etc. They will always fight back against the oppresses and abriters of the status quo. The AAA may go where ever the $ goes, but a lot if them aren't afraid to get multicultural. Regardless, if it's for the right reasons or not. There are more people of color eho game than the man. Any of those who have a problem with it, be they white or someone hating their own race, gender, etc. need to shut the fuck up, sit down, and play whatever else gives them joy. Assuming they actually play games in the first place.

Well, perhaps, but I do feel like a lot of it is people who might have been at the pointy end of being shunned or treated badly not having any qualms about doing the same to others. The fake gamer girl stuff comes to mind.

Also the strange insistence that geek stuff is somehow a ridiculed niche, instead of multi-billion dollar mainstream, like it's still the 80s or something.

'Delusional' Zuckerberg shot down after Trump failed to come to his rescue: report
In a deep dive into Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's face-off with the Federal Trade Commission anti-trust investigation over his acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the controversial founder of Facebook placed a bet that Donald Trump would intervene -- and it never happened.

According to the Journal's Dana Mattioli, Rebecca Ballhaus and Josh Dawsey, the FTC is in the process of getting Zuckerberg to admit he bought the two apps in an effort to "neutralize" them as a threat to his core business and is seeking up to $30 billion in penalties.

Instead, Zuckerberg offered up $450 million which former FTC Chair Lina Khan derided as "delusional" in an interview with the Journal, adding, "Mark bought his way out of competing, so I’m not surprised that he thinks he can buy his way out of law enforcement, too. His proposed remedy, like his market strategy, is: ‘let my illegal monopoly keep monopolizing.’”

The report notes that it appears Zuckerberg thought his paltry offer would get him off the hook with Trump also weighing in on his behalf.

According to the report, Zuckerberg contacted FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson in March with his lowball offer with the Journal adding, "On the call, Zuckerberg sounded confident that President Trump would back him up with the FTC, said people familiar with the matter. The billionaire Facebook co-founder had been developing closer ties to Trump—his company donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration and settled a $25 million lawsuit—and had been pressing the president in recent weeks to intervene in the monopoly lawsuit."

That did not occur, with Ferguson reportedly telling the tech billionaire his offer was "not credible, and wasn’t ready to settle for anything less than $18 billion and a consent decree."

According to the report, Zuckerberg and top executives at Meta have been meeting with both Trump and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles in an effort to get help and that the president was "open to striking a deal with Meta and Zuckerberg, directing staff to work on a deal," but then it fell apart when members of his inner circle group made their case "for Trump not to intervene on Meta’s behalf and to let the case go to trial."

According to the Journal, "For Zuckerberg, who has spent tens of millions in recent years aiming to rebuild his relationship with Trump, the failure to reach a deal pretrial suggests he isn’t getting much return on his investment," adding, "Some people around Trump have warned the president that Zuckerberg’s MAGA rebrand is disingenuous."

Seems Zuck's MAGA cosplay ain't panning out.
