So where are all the evangelists who should be calling this guy out for having so many children outside of holy matrimony? Oh, right, they're hypocrites.

Oh, I'm sure he had a tattoo or baseball cap or untied shoelace or something that "proves" he's MS-13. Better ship him off to the torture gulag just to be on the safe side!
US citizen, born in the US, with a US birth certificate, detained by ICE.
He was taken following a traffic stop (he was a passenger). The misdemeanour charge against him for that was dropped. Yet ICE's detainment continues.
Given the fact that he already has lots of kids. Why does he need more? I never really understood the logic of having more than 4 kids. 1 is bad because he or she or whomever may die or get a disease and have no one to take care of them, possibly in the future. Two is risky as well if they don't get along, while three makes you super busy. 4-5 if you're rich, but if you need to do it right, otherwise there may be inheritance problems. 7+ while being CEO is not doable on a personal basis. So where are all the evangelists who should be calling this guy out for having so many children outside of holy matrimony? There was some documentary recently about a group of guys who exploit loose oversight of sperm donor services to spread their oats far and wide. This is possibly the most famous one. The documentary doesn't really explain why - some of them appear to be racist, but I don't think that's the real motivation. I just think a very small proportion of men have a really fucking weird thing about having loads of children. I wonder if it reflects some sense of self-importance or narcissism. The idea that they have lots of descendants, a huge biological legacy, that they somehow live on in all those offspring and generations.Given the fact that he already has lots of kids. This might to some degree be a sop to the rich and middle classes. But you might be overlooking a more simple explanation that it's opening the education industry to private sector with all the opportunities for economic exploitation involved, and even better allows for the direct transfer of taxpayer funding into the pockets of capitalists. Also sensible. Rich kids and private school need a leg up, and why educate poor kids that'll soon be sent to toil in the fields/mines/factories anyway.![]()
In historic first, Texas House approves private school voucher program
The bill would let families use taxpayer dollars for their children’s private schooling. Lawmakers also signed off on a sweeping $7.7 billion package to boost public school funding.www.texastribune.org
Of course I considered this. It's a given money should flow to those who know how to best make use of it. Regular taxpayers would just waste it on frivolous things like iphones, tv subscriptions, fast food, medications or rent. This might to some degree be a sop to the rich and middle classes. For instance, in the UK, the government recently effectively privatised schools via "academies". The extent to which this has improved education overall is unclear, but what it has allowed is a massive explosion in high-wage management jobs. For instance, in the old days, in any one local authority area there were the schools themselves and then one unit in the council overseeing them, of which there would probably only be the person running the unit on an "executive" salary. Nowadays each local authority area still has that council unit, but there are probably half a dozen or more academy trusts, each with their own executives (CEOs, CFOs, etc.), plus whatever other administrative support. But of course all those private sector management jobs are being funded by government money, which once paid for actual schools.
He certainly loves saying she's ''dead'' and is by all accounts horrible to her. But isn't his daughter the one who took steps to cut ties with him rather than the other way around? Deservingly so considering what a father Musk is.Finally, as we've already seen, when one of his children went against his wishes and changed gender, he simply disowned them. This again might suggest that he views them as his products rather than independent individuals in their own right.
Yeah, absolutely nothing could go wrongAlso sensible. Rich kids and private school need a leg up, and why educate poor kids that'll soon be sent to toil in the fields/mines/factories anyway.
Yes. Nothing indeed. Working as intended.Yeah, absolutely nothing could go wrong

Fred Piccolo, the former communications director for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has been arrested once again for indecent exposure. The 47-year-old was charged on Tuesday with “exposure of sexual organs,” a third-degree felony under Florida law.
Piccolo previously served as DeSantis’ spokesman in 2020 but resigned in December of that year after suggesting on Twitter that the media had inflated the danger of COVID-19. After stepping down, he took a job as marketing director at the “anti-woke” New College of Florida in Sarasota. However, following his latest arrest, a spokeswoman for the college confirmed that Piccolo was fired the day after his arrest.
This arrest marks the fourth time Piccolo has been accused of indecent exposure. He’s already facing charges from three other incidents last summer, where he allegedly exposed himself to employees at Banana Republic and Dillard’s in Sarasota’s Mall at University Town Center. These incidents occurred over a span of 12 days.
Dude really just was the armless pitcher from that Family Guy gag.Its Good Friday and the Shepherd has left its flock. What? No not Jesus Christ. I'm talking about Saint Omzight! He finally has that ''function elsewhere'' everyone so desperately wanted him to take. As of today he resigned and leaves Dutch politics. I suppose in some sense the literal messiah in who'm half the country poured their hopes and dreams leaving after only a year into his new party's life as a burned out, distrusted and increasingly unpopular politician would be tragic.
You could say that, and given his coalition's repeated smear campaigns and manipulation tactics you'd not be entirely wrong. But you'd also not be right. Most of all I think Wilder's comment about him being a ''Catholic Fraud'' is accurate and that this is how the country will remember him.
Because at the end of the day Saint Omzight is a fraud who on the campaign trial talked good deal about good governance and livelihood security, only to force a far right government on the country with partners like Wilders(who hates good governance) and the VVD which is opposed to livelihood security. And while to some degree he was outmaneuvered into this coalition Omzight also made the deliberate choice to exclude the left at which this would be his only remaining option. As the coalition progressed Omzight also repeatedly refused to condemn their poor governance or sidelining of parliament and the courts. This makes their poor governance HIS poor governance and exposed him as a fraud.
It also became clear Saint Omzight behaved fraudulently in his campaign. He sold himself as a ''centrist'' but also kept all his policies deliberately vague. This allowed him to attract voters and political candidates from across the isle, but there is a good reason why he kept his stances so vague. Because this supposed centrist turned out to be a deeply conservative Christian Democrat who is far more against freedom from religion or minority right then he led the country to believe on the campaign trail.
Both in terms of policies and conduct Saint Omzight is a fraud, and all the setbacks he experienced and which ultimately brought him down were entirely of his own making. Omzight placed himself in a position where anyone not sympathetic with the far right would hate him for bringing the far right to power, and the right would hate him for his limited scruples being an obstacle to their agenda. This left him to lose pretty much all supports(from +20 seats to a mere 2) and its entirely deserved. With difference choices from him we might not have Wilders in power right now.

Ah, tried a catholic centrist, eh? Yeah, figures. We for some reason did those for decades. Never really worked out. A whole bunch of CDA members had jumped ship to NSC when that party rose to prominence, and yeah, looks like they're going to be out of a job real soon.Ah, tried a catholic centrist, eh? Ah, yes, the Genghis Khan approach. It's weird, humans think they are an exception to entropy, and the long run rule, that there is nothing in the long run that survives. There are credible science fiction writers who think type 2, and above civilizations(The power to create Dyson spheres, and use all of the power of one or more suns but less than a supermassive blackhole - that's type 3) are immoral. No, they aren't; they can always be destroyed by another type 2 civilization, or even a type 3 civilization. And I am sure as civilizations grow more complex, so do their problems in ways we can't imagine. There was some documentary recently about a group of guys who exploit loose oversight of sperm donor services to spread their oats far and wide. This is possibly the most famous one. The documentary doesn't really explain why - some of them appear to be racist, but I don't think that's the real motivation. It's not just that, but Musk is a deadbeat dad. We live in a society where on the one hand people are writing about families without fathers, children lacking a male role model (and so on). Yet here is a man producing more children than he can pay much attention to, even before considering the demands of his work. He's known to have had 14, but the total is believed to be significantly higher. Never mind that he appears disinteresed in childcare and leaves that to the women he impregnates. Plus, anyone who gives their child a name like "X AE A-Xii" is an utterly self-absorbed, thoughtless tosspot.
Finally, as we've already seen, when one of his children went against his wishes and changed gender, he simply disowned them. This again might suggest that he views them as his products rather than independent individuals in their own right.
