Pssh, shameful. Be proud of your beliefs. Say them with your chest. They are the future.
You know I was going to say this was ridiculous........ then I remembered the current plague in the UK, the Ghost Plate which due to the specific coating makes letters invisible.

So here's what you do, you create some flags (it's reported these were delivered to a number of places and congress people) you colour them white normally one side, the other side you put the Swastika on either in IR paint or apply a paint that is invisible to IR for the white on the layer on the Swastika side meaning it would only be visible on Camera.

Something from Reddit showing this effect the Blue is the colour it was painted the top is what one of his camera was picking up when photographed.

Could be a Prankster
Could be actual Nazis
Could be opponents trying to embarrass a person.

This is very fascinating part of history, where instead of admit to nuclear weapons testing, member of government instead decided to encourage a person who thought they saw evidence of aliens that he was correct and also integral to it all. Anyone who's vaguely aware of the old chupacabra conspiracy theories may already have been exposed to part of this, and may find unexpected closure from here

Not only that, but could help even harbour a tad more cynicism towards any other time the government decides to entertain people's ufo curiousities in congress

weird how conspiracy theoriest have yet again real conspiracies right in front of them yet for reasons probably quite grim and depressing, are unable or unwilling to ever acknowledge and understand.

It's really quite amazing how many mental gymnastics you are willing to go through to absolve people on the right and shift blame to the left without any real evidence than "well, this could have happened, so it must have, because the right never lies, and the left does all the time".

Considering there's articles saying police have been called in and the Swastika is only visible in photos. It's not mental gymnastics.

It's called evaluating possibilities rather than jumping to claim say Jussie Smollett has MAGa supporters attempt lynch him and many other such things.

You can do that effect with IR paint and a camera in night vision mode, you can do that with differences in lighting between images (think the viral dress image), but it's a lot harder to do that in color with a very contrasting pattern in a digital photo and have it look different than in person under the same lighting conditions. Even more so if it has to match he surrounding colors both in person and in photo.

Can you point to an example of how to achieve the actual alleged optical illusion and not merely "thing looks different under different lighting" or "thing looks different to night vision camera"?

So Trump decided to have the Marines perform a live-fire exercise over a freeway in California, which mayor Gavin Newsom decided to close in case there was an accident; Republicans mocked him for the decision.

Well, turns out one of the shells detonated prematurely and peppered JD Vance's motorcade with shrapnel.

I'm sure this reminded Vance of his time in Iraq... as a military journalist.

(But really, wouldn't an SUV or two full of kids be a small price to pay for Trump to feel tough?)

The fact if you have an IR remote say for your TV your phone can detect and show you the IR light?

He's doing it as part of his presidential duties, ergo not illegal, as ruled by the Supreme Court.
