No the argument is "I'm offended" shouldn't be seen as the whole argument and it is meaningless to throw it out there and expect people to care without giving them more of a reason because being offended over a highly subjective personal preference isn't something people should be expected to change things for or accommodate.
Uncharted 3 winning Best Narrative is a perfect example of how to make a point that video game writing is not good (on the whole), that's why I bring it up, not cause it was so bad I'm offended by it. I feel strongly the writing was horrible, but it's not like if I was hanging out with friends and someone is playing it, I'd tell them to not play it or leave the room because it offends me. People get "offended" that they feel they are entitled not to hear some word or whatever. You will hear stuff everyday that you don't like and you just simply move on. I'm not trying to "win" anything, this is literally who I am, even my friends occasionally say they've never seen my mad ever because I don't get mad at anything. The things I get most upset about is nerd arguments or such and such pizza is the best because of the inherent contrast of getting upset at things that actually don't matter at all, so it's basically just for the "bit".
Only actions. There's not a single word you can say to me that will actually hurt me in any way.

There is a slight difference. The Japanese Americans interned were already American citizens; that is one of many reasons their internment was such a violation and an action of abject shame and paranoia. However, foreign students on studying visas aren’t citizens and can have their visitation rights removed at any time for any reason.
