People complaining about Planescape: Torment focusing too much on dialogue. They have pretty much every other game made to solve all their problems with murder.

I find most anime dialogue pretty dreadful, the hairdos and seven-foot accessories preposterous, and the common gameplay themes tedious.
But the thing to emphasise in that - in what you described as saying "hateful" things about a game you love, which is probably overreacting somewhat - is that it's my opinion.
I've loved many games that were, from any objective viewpoint, not good. I've hated many games that most people adored. I bought Bioshock and got sick of it within twenty minutes.
But you know what? Those are my opinions. Other people have others. Someone else hating a game I love won't detract from my enjoyment of that game. So while I'll disagree with them (curiously, I find myself more vehement in informing people just why a game they think is good is actually rubbish, like Far Cry 2), I'll still enjoy my games.
It's all down to not letting other people take away the things you enjoy. So unless they say you're a moron for liking Kingdom Hearts, or unless they try to actually take your game away - why let yourself get upset about it?
It tend to have a soft spot for JRPGs that's easily agitated every time someone starts spouting ignorant bull about stereotypes and how to"fix"JRPGs.

As has already been well put, people who pass of their opinions as fact are annoying as all hell because they come across as arrogant and smug. Not great characteristics generally, in my humble opinion.
However, opinions backed up with some info and backed up with passion can be great. For example, from this very thread I have been inspired to pick up the Kingdom Hearts games which I had previously dismissed as a little sacharine, but if the gameplay is good then I'm in for the ride.
OT: Ignore the idiot who cuss things you don't like, live and let live. Unless they go overboard, in which case, click the red button...

Modern Warfare 2 is as good as the first one, which was very good.
