Glad to see it's back in all its glory, I sense the mighty hypnotoads involvement in all of this. Thank goodness for the toad. Or it was Zoidberg dressed like Jesus.... or a mugging by Bender. who knows, either way its coming back.

There is a god. I'm just glad FOX is starting to think some sense again...for now.
Bring on the next season!

Words cannot describe this joy the best cartoon made is back with the same voice actors as before...on a serious note why did the voice of bender agree to be the emotionless generic sounding Marcus fenix?

Thank goodness, it just wouldn't have been the same. Try imagining Bender voiced by someone else than John DiMaggio.

Things are looking up. Now I'm hoping Leela and Fry getting together from the fourth movie stays, rather than the writers resetting their relationship.

heh. I knew they'd be back. Futurama just wouldn't be Futurama without Billy West and John DiMaggio. Bring on the next season!

From what I can remember it went something like this.

Fox thought that because it was another Matt Groening cartoon they would have another Simpsons on their hands. The thing is Futurama was not the Simpsons, infact it really wasn't anything like The Simpsons. Now I am not an American so I can;t debate with much accuracy the TV scheduling over there but from what I read FOX ended up sticking Futurama on after the Football. Now I am lead to believe that Football can and does overrun which meant that a lot of people who wanted to watch Futurama would tune in to find guys to afraid to play Rugby on the screen instead of the show they wanted to watch.

In essence being that folk couldn't tell what time Futurama was on so it got lower viewing figures than it should have FOX saw that as Futurama = not very good, cancel it.

I am lead to believe that it's initial shift to after the football started the problems and FOXs constant movement of it's viewing times finished it off.

Back on topic, great news. Who couldn;'t see the actors were just holding out to see what they could get from FOX?
So thats why. The only part affected by the "Padded pussyball games" was the entire eastern seaboard, that includes New York, New England region, and Florida and Georgia since the games that start at 4 pm and end after 8 pm and then there is a "post game show" of half an hour, also the games are 4 quarters of 15 minutes how can anyone make a one hour game into 4 hour ganme I HATE FOOTBALL!!!!! I barely even get to watch The Simpsons the entire fall!!!!

I do like the Super Bowl though, but just for the commercials and the half-time show.

Good news everyone!

Shame each individual episode of Futurama takes 6 months to make and costs incredible amounts.

Now back to the waiting.

I caught the Chester A. Bum reference...

On topic, the show wouldn't be the same without Zoidberg and Benders awesome voices...
