What's the betting they'll start the show with weird out of place voices and then the professor Farnsworth will will flick a switch and they're voices will return to normal.

"Sorry about that. My voice modifier is on the fritts again."

"Wow, we sounded awful!"

"Yeah, thank god we have are old voices back. Our adventures would have been terrible without them."

I never thought I'd see the words typed by my own hands but here we go.
I am so relieved to hear that, that I am prepared to open mouth kiss the Fox Executives for preventing a massive cataclysmic crisis.
I never, EVER thought I would be so grateful to the Fox network for anything.

About time. I hope my sending of an email to express how I wouldn't watch the show (and neither would my friends/family) had something to do with it.

It appears the gods (Haruhi, Bruce Campbell, and Billy Mays) have sent us a miracle. May we give thanks by killing zombies while doing the Hare Hare Yukai and loudly pitching Oxyclean.

Edit:

Same here. I also sent them an email telling them it would be bad for the show and for their own personal gain to not hire the voice actors. Both of us probably helped some in the massive swamping of emails I'm guessing they got.

Man...I for one am tired of execs thinking they actually have a clue of what good television is [http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2003/03/19/2684/out_of_their_minds]...

In an interview with Canada's Calgary Sun, Groening railed: "The people at Fox didn't ever support the show and it wasn't to their taste and, in my opinion, they're out of their minds....But they don't like The Simpsons either."

I remember Conan talking about in interviews how execs would say he wasn't funny...

So does anyone know where this is gonna air? Is it gonna be on Fox or Comedy Central?

This just made my day.

As Brannigan once said "If we can hit that bull's-eye,the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate!" Assuming the bull's-eye were the contracts that needed to signed (I'll admit I really wanted to put a Futurama quote and this was the first one I thought of)

Hooray! I can love again!

Seriously, what would the show be without Billy West?
Good point he does so many characters
