Agreed, Natal is a rip off of the Wii and as everyone knows that was a fail and a half

Peter Molyneux is a dumb ass and i hope he dies. Fable and Fable 2 would be much greater games if he just didn't have anything to do with them, and now hes trying to pull this shit?!

Uhh, if he didn't have anything to do with them, then they wouldn't exist... So yeah, he was kinda necessary. Just a tad.

I think Natal could be quite good. I think it would be cool to actually have to use hand gestures to cast fireball, or slam your hands down to do an earthquake spell... Or some such.

I am not so sure about this whole Natal thing.... For one thing, how would you walk in game? keep walking toward you tv? jog in place? how do you switch weapons? access the menu? either way, there will no doubt be issues...

so long as they dont make Natal mandatory, i wont rag on it too much...
If they do it, they will do it subtly. Everything thinks that if Natal is included in games it's going to go fullmetal, but Molyneux isn't stupid. If he does it, he'll probably do it well enough to entice people into using it if they were interested to begin with, but probably still make it optional.

I'm not sold on natal, and if you won't be able to play without then there is no way I will touch it

A good chunk of the games I loved including Syndicate, he had a hand in. Molyneux is full of himself, but a dumb ass? I think not.

me thinks Phil Spencer has been talking to Sir Peter too much. it would be neat for them to do something really great, however knowing Sir Peter's track record of promises to reality it's a bit hard to believe

I watched a demonstration video of Natal and it's pretty cool, but I fail to see how it will do any more than what the Wii does with it's motion controls. In some areas, I think it might actually be less.

You hear complaints about nonsensical waggle motions... prepare for freakish, full out body spasms.

It's cool tech, but I haven't seen anything beyond the realm of a gimmick so far.

Worst case? "Turn the crank by moving your fist counter-clockwise" or something similar...
haha...like in Killzone 2 when it brings you out of immersion to move your hands to turn a valve... :p

"Molyneux isn't stupid"...no he just likes to talk big...

Remember his raving on about how many options there would be in Fable 2?...then it ended up being more of the same good path/evil path and good ending/evil ending like in the predecessors...

Nilcypher estimates reaching behind your back to get weapons...but considering Molyneux, this will probably be implemented in "mini-games". Like the gambling ones...and the "blacksmith" jobs and what not...

Agreed. I love the Fable games, but the last thing I want to do while playing them is move my arms spazzily to mimic a sword swing or something. Besides, like I said before, I don't want to look ridiculous while playing a video game. That's the main reason I don't play my flatmate's Wii or my former flatmate's Guitar Hero.

Really? A series of games designed by the man who was endlessly ejaculating ecstatic praise for Natal in front of a live audience at E3 might use its capabilities? I never could have imagined that.

Supposedly it's being developed with Fable III, and some weird "Touch" feature...

Yeah, I don't know either.

I'm not sure which is dragging which one down here, Fable dragging Natal or Natal Dragging Natal.

Either way, I've lost some interest in both of them now.
