I knew the moment he mentioned liking R&M, it was already over. He would go too soft on the game. I don't see why he hates Borderlands humor that much. I don't like the series, because the looter aspect does not do it for me. Humor on the other hand, I either had a few laughs or wasn't bothered much by it.Just an example of one of those games that I figured would annoy the shit out of him.
That's nothing new. If people bothered to pay attention, he's been carrying this attitude since the beginning, or at least around 2009.I am beginning to think he doesn't value innovative gameplay and narrative as much as he claims he does. Lol
I get a strong Macross vibe from a lot of these. (Though with the side-views of some of the helmeted characters, I have to wonder how large this AI thinks a human head is.)
I feel like there must be something wrong with me then, because I like R + M and the trailers for High On Life do nothing to make me want to play the damn thing. I mean, if someone paid me to play it, I guess I would, but it would have to be enough to be worth my time if I didn't like it.@CriticalGaming,

- He likes the game, and liked Rick and Morty. Though he does admit the later seasons are not as good as the first.
- He does admit how much you like High on Life, depends on how much you like the writing style of R&M.
- Yahtzee does admit most of the guns suck.
- The final boss is anti-climactic.
The problem with HOL, is that it suffers the same problems Ryan Reynolds has. Doing the same schtick over and over again, but not as much effort put into it or phoned in some cases. He's been stuck in Deadpool mode for the latter half of his career. It's why I've been avoiding most of his movies until Deadpool 3 comes out. I knew I would suffer from burnout, so I went out of my way to avoid watching his recent output. While Justin Roiland is just using Rick and Morty jokes from the cutting room floor to fill in an 8-to-10-hour game.I feel like there must be something wrong with me then, because I like R + M and the trailers for High On Life do nothing to make me want to play the damn thing. I think this perfectly sums up what's bugging me about HOL. Appreciate it.While Justin Roiland is just using Rick and Morty jokes from the cutting room floor to fill in a 8 to 10 hour game.
