This is what Naughty Dog wanted. Could have revealed Last of Us II with anything, but chose the lesbian scene; could have revealed Intergalactic with anything, but chose the protagonist shaving her head.
Except it wasn't. TLoU2 was revealed with Ellie playing the guitar (anything, just like you wanted), and the second trailer was a cutscene with Abby. It was the third trailer that showed the dance scene. I know you just really want to hate on anything that isn't straight, but maybe get your facts right before you make an ass of yourself.

You're just looking for things to get pissed about, hence why you remember TLoU2's reveal to be the "lesbian scene" instead of what it actually was. And why you went digging for Erika Ishii's sexual orientation so you could get mad at that (particularly gross that was) when Ghost of Yotei was revealed. And if the protagonist in Intergalactic wasn't revealed shaving her head, you would've been pissed that she had a shaved head at all, or was a person of colour, or was a woman in a "girl boss" scene.

You're the one making the choice to get mad at something that is a complete non issue for everyone who isn't homophobic or misogynistic.

Fine, the gameplay reveal.

Such an odd choice if you don't know Neil Druckmann and his ilk. Would be as if the trailer for Matrix Reloaded had Neo and Trinity embracing and staring into each other's eyes for a whole minute, before sharing a sensual kiss. I can't remember another trailer for a movie or game wasting so much time on the build-up to an insipid kiss. In Druckmann's brain, it had to be done because they're gay. He's so fake, has no respect for the social topics he incorporates.

No, you said 'reveal' not 'gameplay reveal'. You were fucking wrong in your information because you were eager to hate on gay inclussion.

Sure, you're mad because Druckmann is fake. And Erika Ishii being not-straight is fake too - that's why you were mad at it?

That fact that it pissed people off so bad just to see two women kissing meant it was the right choice to put it in the trailer. You can try to spin your homophobia as much as you want though. It doesn't make you any less homophobic.

Is it true that the trailer on the Naughty Dog channel was published with comments already turned off? So, they want the discourse, just not in front of their advertising where it might hurt sales.

Oh, and this camera in a melee action game again. Let me guess... Warning icons, because the player can't see shit.
You're petty as fuck and homophobic/transphobic, but keep trying to hide behind. You're a coward. Why do even care? (rhetorical question' don't answer). You've made it pretty clear you're not interested in anything Naughty Dog has to offer. I hate TLOUS2, but not for the fucked up reasons you got.

This new project is way more interesting than anything they've done in forever and this past decade. Intergalatic has me curious and the character does stand out for me, because it's rarely ever done in gaming.

There is beauty in female baldness, even though it's not my thing. Some ladies can rock it, and some can't. Circumstances are always different Fucking deal with it like a real adult and grow the fuck up.

He's goal posts his shit half the time, so Ezekiel's bullshit does not surprise me.

Shaving head in reveal reminds me of the first Last of Us II trailer just being two dancing girls staring into each other's eyes before kissing. All these people wanna do is trigger. It's embarrassing. Their stories don't feel honest and their gameplay is only mediocre.

The dislike ratio and disabled comments are beautiful.

"The story is quite ambitious," Druckmann said, and focuses on "what happens when you put your faith in different institutions."

This could go several different ways, but hopefully he steers away from the misery porn this time, in case he hasn’t realized that you can still tell an impactful story without depressing the audience. It’s actually detrimental in most cases, unless the audience is somehow just plain masochistic.

Or just not little bitches that can handle a story not going the happy route once in a while
It would’ve at least been easier to digest and accept if the story wasn’t generally a shitshow. The reasons have been discussed and critiqued to hell and back, even by people who generally liked the game. The most significant highlight of the story was with Lev and Yara, because it helped humanize Abby and presented a challenge to her overcoming one of her fears.

Hmmm, the top comment though -

Wrong... Grimshaw did NOT kill Karen... She said she killed girls before just to scare them... She loved those girls, proof is when Tilly gets kidnapped and goes with Arthur to find her... She admits then that she loves all the girls and would do the same for any one of them.

[…] the producer of the Persona series, Kazuhisa Wada, has explained why this tends to be the case. Speaking at the CEDEC + KYUSHU 2024 conference, Wada said that the Persona games are intended to be coming-of-age stories, with a theme of growing up. As such, choosing high school students to be the majority of the Persona protagonists and party members simply makes sense, as junior high and high school years tend to be when people start getting a taste of adult life.
As for the protagonists' gender, Wada said that was mostly down to the perceived differences of mental maturity of girls and boys. Wada noted that high school female students tend to have a "higher mental age" or be more mature than their male counterparts. As such, the males have more space to grow and evolve, making them a better choice for the protagonist in this context. With that said, Wada notes that it's not out of the question for the protagonists of the games to be either female or non-students.
Yeah no, veiled sexism aside, it doesn't even make sense within the context of the games either because the P4 and P5 protags are the blandest of blank slates who get barely any character development. Everyone around them does. Anyway, just be honest and say "our protags are young men because that's our target audience".

Not to mention, there are plenty of games in the East and West that have coming of age story for girls, women, and female characters, making his excuses even more bullshit.
