Hopefully by the time they come out (PS6 most likely) the industry will have moved past the games as service model.

Who am I kidding.
Would I love to see more RDR? Sure. I'm not going to get excited until I learn what "more" actually means. RDR3? RDR1 Remake/Remaster? Or is it just RDO forever? No offense to people who enjoy RDO, but a live service online experience is not what I'm interested in as far as Red Dead is concerned and I want to see a game that at least tries to reach the same standards as RDR1 or (probably not likely) RDR2.

Fuck, if they want to remake/remaster Red Dead Revolver so it's easier to find and play, I'd be game. And then the Revolver fans will maybe stop complaining that that game doesn't get enough love.

@hanselthecaretaker, here's another Red Dead 2 video.

Kinda surprised they didn’t play the Pouring Forth Oil mission, which is a straight up homage to Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. The assault on Braithwaite Manor is another one that is particularly good, where the former slavers get their comeuppance.

NFTS. NFTS. NFTS. NFTS.

A well written review, yet I disagree, Z2: Chaos is still the best in the franchise. More characters, more weapon variety, more mobility options, sub-weapons, and better level design and variety. Origin's main advantage is the art style and the parry button. We agree on that. Before Origin, no character had a dedicated parry button other than Saki in Z2. She does not get a sub-weapon and gets her own charged parry attack.

Whenever the next game comes out, they should keep the cel-shaded anime art style, but bring back Kagura and Saaya, and have the game take place after Z2. There is not much point remaking Bikini Samurai Squad and Bikini Zombie Slayers.

Glad I never got into MMOs. That's so sad how bad things can get when you make exclusive rewards, the only benefits of you it makes everyone else look and feel shit.

Who would’ve thought they’d have followed this up with pretty much the polar opposite level of care and effort, outsourced or not.

This is more of a podcast then an article but it's quite an interesting discussion of how Breath of the Wild shows a great affinity for the previous games in the LoZ series and implies a truely staggering depth of history of Hyrule and there was a bunch of shit I never noticed before.
