AMP: Robots Make a Hell of a Friend (And a Pretty Good Soldier)
AMP is a pretty engaging sci-fi short written and directed by Adam Marisett for Triton Films. It's set in a world where giant robots can be your best
Credit where it's due, the first two FEAR games did a pretty good job of building atmosphere in certain places- the first game was just sparing enough with the jumpscares to keep you on edge, and the school from 2 still makes me shiver a little when I remember it- and even 3 did a decent job with the mall. A pity the expansion packs were terrible (or so I heard) and the game tried too hard to be an action shooter with the third game when it didn't have nearly the chops to pull it off.Another FEAR review. Avalanche's review this time.
Extraction Point is actually good. It's only terrible, if you don't like the story and ending (most fans and people do). Perseus Mandate is the expansion everyone hates with good reason. There are many that prefer EP over Project Origin.Credit where it's due, the first two FEAR games did a pretty good job of building atmosphere in certain places- the first game was just sparing enough with the jumpscares to keep you on edge, and the school from 2 still makes me shiver a little when I remember it- and even 3 did a decent job with the mall. I played the base game and EP. I gave up halfway through PM so I guess I agree even though I don't remember either one.Extraction Point is actually good. I agree with Max heavily on the lack of single player content. Even GG Strive has this problem. Fighting games should strive to have more single player content and not act like just a straight up, vanilla port of an arcade game. I like the game, but don't even have a survival or time attack mode. Netherealm Studios got all of this shit figured out by MK9. Midway/NS stopped making games for the arcade after MK4. Even Capcom started off shallow with SFV, but managed to add more content and complete package after 3 years of course. SFV is an extremely rare case though. At least Capcom added all of those challenges modes, different arcade modes based off each SF title, Survival mode, Daily and Online Events and Challenges. SNK can stand to do the same.Max's KOFXV review.
It took professionals this long to finally say something? Gamers and YouTube circle have been saying this stuff since 2013.![]()
Video games talk too much
Games like Dying Light 2 and Horizon Forbidden West are overeager to talk a player's ear off.www.digitaltrends.com
