It's important to remember that Yui Tanimura, the director of Dark Souls II, is also the co-director of Elden Ring. You can trace a tendency for From Software to recycle concepts from previous games, sometimes to apparently try and redeem them if they didn't play well the first time. It could be that he was trying to give the Executioner's Chariot another go around, and we ultimately ended up with the version of the chariots we have now.

Yes. Which is the dumbest argument I've ever heard. Anyone who argues that is really stupid.
I mean....I can't even. I don't know how that's even an argument. That's like trying to argue the sun is actually toast and it's so stupid there's nowhere to even start.
I think it's an effort to differentiate African from African-American, and while the difference in culture can be argued over, simply claiming that a woman living in Africa "isn't black" is both reductive and insulting.
