Every version of James Bond kept his mouth shut through most of the action. He might joke to cap off a fight, like saying "They'll print anything these days" after throwing someone into a printing press, but it wasn't constant. This version of Bond is more like Leon from the RE4 remake, distracting from the action.

I called out "Backseat driver" a few months ago because it's something that Bond would never say to his help. Too easy for him.

My older brother and I are going to love the shit out of First Light. He'll probably get it before me though.

I've heard tell that it's going to be fairly linear, and that some people are upset that it won't basically be a rebranded Hitman game.
Sucks to be them, and they should not be bitching so much. Considering some of those same people drone on about how they miss 10-12 hour single player linear games from 5-7th generations before gen 8. You can't have both ways you spoiled brats. Either get the game, or don't. Otherwise, continue to have fun with the shitty live-service games, if First Light bothers y'all so much.

I never had any love for Hitman. Find the sandbox boring. Guess I'm not creative enough.

"Before he becomes 00..." Why do we care?
Even if the women spies were trained like the men and not still used for seduction and sex, MI6 would likely train them separately. Yet here he is in school with three women.

I struggle to think of such a tutorial that wasn't dull. Just let me learn in the pre-title/credits action scene.

Really looking forward to the new 007 game. After the fiasco that was Legends, and then the very underwhelming reworking of Goldeneye Reloaded...honestly, there hasn't really been a good Bond game since Everything or Nothing on the PS2, IMO, so it's nice to see a Bond game trying to do something new for the series and start over fresh rather than trying to do what 007 Legends did and hang its hat completely on nostalgia and memberberries.

Shared because them quotes go hard
"Preachy dudes, the ones who nag at developers without even having played their demos, are the No 1. most hated demographic at game events. If we were in America, you would get shot in the head and told to go make your own game."
Killer

"You, the preachy dude who comes to indie game exhibitions and looks at everyone like they're beneath you. We're sure you graduated from Tokyo University, work at a major game company and make games that sell millions of copies across the world. Your advice is far too valuable to be given out for free. Why don't you join a conference with an astronomically high participation fee and share it with industry peers? Then, you can upload it to YouTube so we can watch it while we take a shit."

I think the real SIS field school is coeducational (or has been since they started using female operatives); because having two separate ones is just impractical considering the things being taught and material being read and referenced.

Stop bringing logic and facts into this conversation. Let Ezekiel find excuses to hate something he never was going to like to begin with.

If they could sort out the rights issues, I'd like to have Nightfire back on Steam. Also a port of that GoldenEye game on PS2 that was about a villain.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the 2006 E3 Sony PS3 presentation that gave us timeless memes.

$599! RIIIIIDDGE RAAACER! Giant Enemy Crab! Hit its weak point for massive damage!

Good times. Also remember when people thought that was an insane price for a new console?

What’s kinda ironic is, if they teased the games we actually wound up getting over the course of its lifecycle most people would’ve shat a brick.

Let me guess, melee is the same button as shoot, and that's why every time he fires a gun the camera has to zoom way the hell in on the shoulder, like in declined MGS4/5.
Nope, punch is the left face button, counter is the right face button and bottom is dodge. Then why can he not stylishly shoot "from the hip," with the camera still pulled out. Is it because the shoot button is used for gadgets (Watch Dogs style hacking, rather than the practical resourcefulness of the movies) before the camera zooms in with the left trigger or right mouse button? Yeah, that's probably it.
