The mother in Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening(that name's way too long)
I went through the whole expansion up until the final boss raping my way through every enemy and boss without any effort whatever, including that big electric dragon, and then I reached the final boss and got my ass kicked. Difficulty curve suddenly jumped from being fit for a retard to being difficult.
I hadn't died once until the final boss.

Most hated boss ever: Col. Autumn from Fallout 3.
The thing I always thought about fallout 3 is that it didn't HAVE any 'final boss fights.' Or 'boss fights' for that matter. It's mostly about getting from point a to point b and trying to survive. Yeah, Autumn was piss easy, but it wasn't supposed to be hard. Every character in the game (shy of the behemoths) are essentially stepping stones for you to walk over. It's all about figuring out the best way to do so.

Anyway, onto other things:

Metroid Prime 2.

Boost ball boss and final boss.
What the NELLY. As much as that game sucked, why did those bosses have to suck SO MUCH MOAR.

Oh, and Osma from FFIX. I think that battle is actually impossible to beat.

The False King from Demon's Souls. Why can't he be more like the real king? All defenceless and splashy.
But noooooh, they had to make him move at the speed of light, they had to give his attacks shockwaves, they had to give him a very big OHKO forcefield and they had to give him an almost-OHKO lift-me-up-thrust-sword-through-me-and-take-my-hard-earned-soul-levels-away-move.

You can have cheap moves, you can have a very long range, BUT YOU DO NOT TOUCH MY SOUL LEVELS! You just don't!
Compared to him the firemonkey is a fun boss!
Arg, ye was to quick for me!

I have yet to beat that level-draining son of a ***** on my own. I know it's a sheer impossibility, but I try nonetheless.

Ruby Weapon, the hate I have for that boss is insane, and I think another boss I hate was the last boss in Sword of Mana for the SNES.

I somehow beat her in one try, and it was only my level 32 created dude. That was the first time i EVER used a health potion for my guy in that expansion. All the other bosses were piss easy. I thought it was something to do with my armor(I wore Cailan's armor half the time, until I found the Sentienl armor). Oh well, thst ***** is dead

The Archfiend in Ninja Gaiden 2, probably because while theres checkpoints theres no saves or shops between the fights, so i fight the preist boss and lose all my potions and finally beat him after several attempts then it cuts to the archfiend and im like no way am i fighting that preist again. The archfiend can only be hit with your bow and only when you charge it for like 3 seconds and takes about 60 hits to die, and then when you finally win he decides to transform into a speedy boss with a ton of cheap moves to crush you over and over again. And this was in the second easyest difficulty :(

Most of the bosses in Ninja Gaiden 2 on its harder difficulty.

God damn, those bosses never let up and they usually have powerful minions with them.
Goddammit, that effing helicopter--!! Don't they know not to put a save point in a place I can't return to a shop from? Don't they KNOW I only have so many arrows?!

And the zombies.

But mostly the EFFING HELICOPTER.

Have you battled Sir Sweet yet?
Chef Bot is easy compared to Sir Sweet... I still have yet to beat that mofo.

GrrrrraaaaaaaaaaHHHHHH!!!! FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! Cheap fucking piece of shit pig mofo!!!!! *smashes random furniture* *burns and destroys anything in sight*

*takes deep breath and calms down*

Chefbot was a *****, but that fucking sir sweet is just some sick and twisted joke the developers decided to put in so you won't be able to play the damn DLC. I haven't tried in a while, but I will beat that mofo and unlock my damn DLC dammit.

Now if you will excuse me...*goes back to uncontrollable rage and destruction*

Any of the bosses in Prototype. I thought that they were just poorly designed.
I can help you with that, if you like >_>

OT: really HATE? I would go so far as to say the Juggernaughts in Modern Warfare 2. Man to man, they beat you every time. Not really bosses though.

Then of course, there's the Tank from L4D. Nothing makes me cringe or rage harder than facing a Tank with idiots on your team. I mean, Tank spawns before the music starts, and you must either pass a 'trigger' or enter his cone of vision to set him off. You blatantly hear him going "Raaaargh!" and grunting from ages away, and fools run off ahead as if deaf. Protip: Throw a molotov and get some distance..

So my sister was playing Zelda: OoT today, and asked me if I could please beat this boss for her. Sure, I thought, OoT bosses are easy. Except... she was in Lord Jabu Jabu's belly.

T tried over and over again to kill that sob octorock mini boss before I finally rage quit... i mean seriously, no other boss in that game is so hard.

So I was wondering... what bosses did/do you really hate from video games?
YOU CANT BEAT THE BIG-OCTO?!?!?!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!
sorry, I have to laugh.
and try beating phantom ganon with the bottle, that gets pretty annoying after a while.

an easy way to do it is to wait for him to get close(as apposed to running around to him for five minutes) then nailing him with the 'rang.
as hes stunned quickly go around while you keep throwing it at him, then deku stick, jump slash his ass.
Im trying to do a speedrun, and this is the fastest way I could find(besides glitching with crooked cartridge or skipping him altogether, but thats cheap and I dont count that).

OT: that horse on devil may cry 3 in "dante must die mode" is a *****, Im trying without infinite devil trigger or a guide and the second time around (in the room with all the bosses) he becomes a cheap little *****.

I forget his name, boss of the secret level in Ninety-Nine Nights, unless you got a specific rare item during the level, you were faced with 30 minutes of chipping away at his health, made all the more annoying because he pretty much one shots you and likes to lake leisurely strolls along the beach of invincibility

Actually, the opposite of what's posted here: I hated a boss for being too easy.

One of my favorite video games ever, FFX, the final boss. (I think it was like YuYevon or something weird like that?)You literally COULD NOT LOSE, as they kept auto-life casted on you throughout the pointless battle. I'm big on epic boss battles, and that was pretty anti-climactic.

The original Sonic 2D Eggman battles. They are always so easy, so slow, and always broke up the flow of the game. When they were not easy is when they resorted to cheap instant kill attacks and when the nearest check point was miles from the nearest ring.

Usually end bosses like the Dirge of Cerberus end boss and, the one that comes to mind, Goro from Mortal Combat. That son-of-a-whore had bullshit moves. GOWD! He made me so mad!

Oh, good lord, I know. I usually just play with bots, and they just wait for me to run into the enemies. I especially hate when a Witch is in the way of a door or in a tight hallway that I need to go down. And then the others won't heal me until a swarm hits... or they just stand and watch as a hunter claws my tits off.

The final boss on Final Fantasy 8. Ultimecia.
How do you beat her? I came to the conclusion that you just have to get lucky out of all the times you redo fighting her. Or just some really tight tactics. *****...
