Never met (or heard of) a character named Emil, the closest ive ever gotten was a sword called "Emils Brand" from WoW,(no flame please) i kept it for the lulz.

I think the main character from Tales of Symphonia is called Emil. It's a JRPG though, if you don't play them there's no way you could know that. XD

Never any main characters... but whenever there is a character named Carlos something bad happens. He died in Saints Row 2, he's a beggar outside of Rivit City in Fallout 3, there's more.

There was that game Unskippable did an episode for a little while back, where the antagonist was called Lloyd Irving. -_- They just had give him that lame second name, didn't they? I know nothing about the game or the character outside of the five minutes of cutscene footage I saw.

The game would be Tales of Symphonia. Lloyd is a bit annoying, but suffers from main character syndrome (i.e. best in terms of offense)

OT: I'm sure Charles is used here or there, but nothing off the top of my head.
To a degree my last name is used for minor characters, usually German scientists and the like.
Of recent memory Dr. Klein from Fallout:NV.

Play Nier. That game has an Emil, and he's one of my favorite game characters of all time.
